SIRIUS AND REMUS WALK THROUGH HOGWARTS on their way to the fields. "You look good in that jacket. Almost as good as I always look in it. Lily and I are going to have to make you one." Sirius says.
Remus snorts. "Okay, sure. But I doubt that I look good in your jacket, Sirius."
Sirius nods, somewhat trying to encourage Remus. "You really do. You'd get all the girls looking like that, I promise." Remus laughs sardonically. "Yeah, totally. I bet." If only he knew...
He raises an eyebrow. "Well, you still look dashingly handsome to me."
Remus attempts to flip his hair dramatically. "Why thank you, kind sir," he says in between laughs and Sirius joins him. "You're quite welcome, fair maiden."
The two of them laugh together and Sirius turns to Remus and he swears he can see his eyes twinkling. This was probably the happiest Remus had been in a while. He couldn't think of someone who could make him as happy as Sirius did.
"You better make sure to be extra loud when we cheer for James," Sirius says, mischief gleaming in his eyes. "We're gonna crush those slimy bastards."
Remus rolls his eyes. "You're crazy, Sirius."
"I know, Moony." he chuckles. They come to the end of the corridor and out to a very large field.
Remus looks up to the giant stands. They're almost half as tall as the castle, but not as extravagant. Remus glances at all of the crowds and spots a sea of scarlet and gold. "There's the Gryffindor stands. Next to it are the Ravenclaw, then Hufflepuff and Slytherin." Sirius points out each one as he names them off; each of them the same height and are all packed with people.
"Is it always like this?" Remus asks. "Pretty much. Come on, let's go find some seats!" Sirius says enthusiastically, pulling Remus by the hand. They weave in and out of the crowds, all as they laugh. Remus spots the concession stand and stops Sirius. "Can we get something?"
Sirius grins. "Of course." He looks like a little kid, he thinks. "What do you want, Moony?"
Remus looks up at the menu. As he stares at it, he becomes more and more perplexed. Each item was new and foreign to him by the second. Sirius raises an eyebrow at him and his expression of utter confusion plastered all over his face. "You okay Remus?"
What on earth are pumpkin pasties? Is butterbeer actual beer? Chocolate frogs...are those even edible? he thinks.
Remus blinks. "Um, yeah. How about you just...order for me. I don't know what I want." Sirius shrugs, chuckling. "Alright mate." he turns to the server, who looks bored out of her mind. He catches her attention. "Hello, um, I would like an order of two butterbeer's, two chocolate frogs, and a box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, please."
"That'll be fifteen dollars," the girl says in her monotonous voice. Sirius hands her the money and in turn, receives all that he ordered. He hands Remus the butterbeer and a chocolate frog. Remus points at the butterbeer, a question already lingering on his lips. "Sirius, does this have alcohol in it?" he asks. Sirius lets out a hearty laugh. "No, Moony. It's just the name. But, I can spike it if you'd like, Mr. Goody-Two Shoes."
Remus chuckles nervously, "I'm fine, Sirius. But thanks?" Sirius rolls his eyes, "I'm kidding. But James spiked my butterbeer one time and we had a really fun night..." he says, smirking.
