Chapter Seventeen

 

 You know those movies where someone is in the hospital and they come out and there is like thousands of people standing there awaiting for them to come out to engulf them in hugs?

That was what it was like for me. As soon as I was wheeled out of the room I glanced to the left and seen all of my family, then in front of me was the two sexiest guys I have ever seen; Kaleb and Daniel. Luckily, everything was fine with the baby, I wasn't pushed that hard and the vase didn't cutt me that deep, so my leg was stitched up and feeling okay but I still was really livid with Kaleb after what he done. How could he be such a hypocrite? Just because I was having his baby didn't mean he had some sort of control over me.

As soon as I got home I had my brother and my father go over to Kalebs to get my things because I didn't want to face him. I didn't speak to neither Kaleb nor Daniel when I was being wheeled out of the hospital, all I seen was a glance of them talking to each other. Weird.

I decided It wasn't time for me to worry about dating anytime soon and with only 16 weeks left till I delivered my son, I needed to focus on getting everything ready for him.

 I was in my room on my laptop looking at baby stuff when I heard a soft knock on my door, hoping it wasn't Kaleb I closed my laptop and yelled for them to enter and was more than happy to see that it was just my twin brother Tyler.

"Hey Ty!" I cheered.

"Sis, we need to talk." He said and say down onto my bed pushing my laptop away.

"Okay, spill." I said looking at his worried face.

"Did you know that Jane is pregnant?" He asked.

"Yeah, I know she is." I said.

"Well, I sort of wanted to tell you that it might..be..mine.." He said while scratching the back of his head.

"WHAT?!" I shrieked and jumped up. "You said she was a skank, why would you have sex with her?!" I asked.

"Whoa, calm down sis, I said I might be. and I can't explain why I did it, I'm a guy, that's all I got.." He trailed on.

"Don't you know she's saying Kaleb is the father?" I asked.

"Oh shit, really? Thank God." He said relieved.

"WHY are you happy about that?!?!" I yelled.

"Because, if it's his baby then good, I don't have to deal with having a kid, no offense." He laughed.

"Look Tyler, this is serious! How are we suppose to know who's child that is? You need to talk to her again Tyler, because I know she knows who the babys father is." I said.

"I'll talk to her okay? By the way, how's my nephew? You scared us today."

"Your nephew is doing great, growing as you can see.." I laughed. "But Tyler, I'm serious okay, please talk to her."

"I will. Welcome home sis." He said and kissed my forhead.

"Thanks bro." I smiled.

I sure was happy to be home, I could actually get peaceful sleep and not worry about hearing that skank in Kaleb's room a couple weeks ago. I know that more important events have unfolded since then, but stuff like that truly stays in a girls mind.

I was not sure if I would want Jane's baby to belong to my brother, because I know how much he would have to go through with someone like her but I also have always wanted a family with Kaleb, even though he was so confusing all the time, and if Jane's baby belonged to Kaleb, I would only have half of him and even though he is infuriating, I want all of him.
