CHAPTER 32

Hindi na alam ni Kath kung ano ang dapat gawin

Nahihiya na siyang humingi ng tulong kina Miles at Julia dahil lagi na lang siya dito nagbubuhos ng sama ng loob.

She really is clueless.

Hindi niya alam na all this time, siya na ang nakakasira sa pangarap ng mahal niya. Siya na walang ibang hinangad kundi ang maging okay ang lahat, na ang lahat ay maging masaya… siya pa pala ang dahilan kung bakit hindi ito natutupad.

She never wanted to hurt anyone. Kahit na inis na inis siya sa isang tao, hanggang pag-tataray at pag-sususungit lang ang kaya niyang gawin.

She again got her pillow and covered her face and shouted. She was very frustrated. All these stress makes her want to die.

She reached for her phone and dialed the number that she knows will help her a lot.

“Hi Ma.” Kath casually said as she tries to hide her tears.

“Hi Anak! Oh Kamusta ka na diyan?”

She wanted to say that she’s in deep pain right now. She wanted to say that she doesn’t know what to do.

“Fine.” But she can’t

“Oh bakit ka napatawag? May problema ba?”

“Meron Ma, pero maliit lang naman.”

“Oh ano ba yon?”

“Ma, what if… what if you just want everything to be fine. You ignored everyone just to be fine. And then suddenly someone will talk to you and will say that you are the cause of distraction. The cause why everything is not fine…”

“Bakit? Tutoo ba na ikaw ang may kasalanan? May proof ba sila?”

Kath burst into tears. She can’t hold it anymore.

“Kath, I know you know what you are supposed to do. I raised you and Jean well. Alam ko gagawin mo ang tama. If it’s too much, that’s enough.”

“Kasi Ma, di ko naman sinasadya eh. Di ko naman sinasadya na… na… na masira ang career niya… Pumasok ako bilang isang temporary stylist niya pero hindi ko naman alam na magiging ganito ang lahat.” She said in between her sobs

“Kath, kung hindi mo kaya tama na.”

With that simple words from her mom, she knows what to do

While on the other point of view, DJ was sitting at the hood of his car at an overlooking view of the city, the exact place where Kath and he stayed when they came home from Pampanga.

Same as Kath, He too is problematic.

He can’t afford the feeling that everyone in this world is so mad at you. His Manager, some of his fans, his co-workers, the management, and of course…. Kath

He feels like he is a demon for what he has done. He smirked at that thought and breathed deep.

“Buhay nga anman oh…. Ang dami dami mong nagawang mabuti pero isang pagkakamali lang, galit lahat sila sayo.” He threw the empty can of beer

“Akala mo naman mga santo sila na hindi gumagawa ng kasalanan. Masama na bang maging masaya ngayon? Oo alam ko mali yon, pero hindi naman nila kailangang ipamukha sa akin. Bumabawi naman ako ha?”

He felt the warmth inside his eyes that’s why he looked up and try to fight back his tears.

“Wala namang namatay sa ginawa ko, pero para akong criminal. Eto namang si Kath… hay Kathryn ewan ko…”
