"Well, I never expect this from you, Lexi." Hayden smirks at me, while leaning against the desk in the abandoned classroom.

I roll my eyes. "Yeah and I never expected to ask you for this, but here we are."

She folds her arms against her chest. "Why are you asking me to do this anyway?"

Here's the thing about Hayden, she's not some dumb idiot. She's smart, and logical to the point that if she wasn't so make up, hair, and clothes obsessed she could actually be in my group of friends. But she's not, and she doesn't tend to get in trouble, always gets away with everything.

"Because someone tried to threaten me, and no one will just get away with it."

Her brows raised in surprise. "Ooooh know I'm excited." She smiles. "What's her name?"

"Don't know." I shrug.

Hayden glares a little. "You want me to get at a girl when I don't even know her name?"

I sigh. "Long blond hair, round glasses, beauty mark right over her lip, pretty, blue eyes." I describe her.

"You expect me to find one girl out of the three thousand kids at this school who looks like probably a fifth of the girls here?" She stands up, her eyes piercing mine. "That's impossible."

"So?" I take a step forward.

She smiles a wicked smile. "So I'll make it happen."

I smirk. "Just play with her a little, it will be a warning."

She gives me a wink, as she walks backwards toward the door. "Warning it is."

What have I done?

"Did you guys know that Aidan's in the hospital?" Jackson asks, eating a fry. It's been a few hours since Hayden and I had out little discussion. Part of me feels guilty but the other part of me is excited. But the guilt starts to win because as I sit next to Dylan, I can't imagine how mad he would be if he found out about what I was up to.

"What?" Everyone asks, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah, I was the one who took him." I chuckle.

"What happened?" Mariana asks, clearly worried.

"These group of guys beat the shit out of him." Dylan answers.

"Probably because of the street fighting." Noah shakes his head, eating a fry.

"He should really stop doing that." Emma sighs.

"Is he okay?" Jason asks.

I nods. "Broken leg and some stitches."

"Shit!" Jackson curses.

"Hope he gets better." Mason says.

"We can go visit him after school." Lucas grins.

"Soccer practice." Caleb, Mason, and Mariana all say in harmony.

"Then let's just go see him, tomorrow." I suggests. They all nod, when someone plops right next to Mariana. Is that Nathan? Damn. I thought she hated him. He's... sexy. Dark tousled brown hair, green eyes, very lean. I'm pretty sure he plays on the guys soccer team. Are they together? Why wouldn't she tell me?! No, she would tell me if she's with him. Right? She would be lucky to have him as a boyfriend. I've had few conversations with Nathan. By conversations I mean asking what the time was once. Never stopped to analyze the guy. But hey, he told me the right time. They would actually make a very cute couple.
