Damian secretly enjoys going to see Phantom of the Opera with Mar'i when she makes him go with her to the theatre on dates. He tends to relate to the phantom Erik, as Erik is very alike to Damian. They were both loners, misunderstood, treated as outsiders, and both love a woman (Christine and Mar'i). Damian also noticed that Mar'i and Christine were a tad bit alike as well. They were both beautiful, strong, kind, slightly naive, and they both loved a man, who on the outside wasn't so pleasant, but on the inside a decent human. Damian hoped that Mar'i wouldn't ever leave him, like Christine had left the phantom. Damian hoped that he and Mar'i would have a happy ending, and a wonderful life together.
