"Seriously?!"

Lian and I are FaceTiming, since we can't really talk in person.  She's in Star City for college, while I'm in Gotham for my college.  We FaceTime every few days or so on our laptops.  I've just told her about Damian and I dating.  Lian was the only person I had told about me dating Damian, since I didn't want my dad knowing about us.  She looks rather shocked, as if she has just been electrocuted.  Her eyes are widened, and her jaw is dropped.  She sounds incredulous.

"Yes Lian, Damian and I are seriously dating," I say to her.

Lian still looks at me in disbelief.  I kind of expected her to react like this.

"I just cannot believe it!  You and Damian-, why would you choose Damian Wayne?!  The psycho assassin with violent, mental problems!" She really emphasizes on those words.

I frown at her.  "Okay, first off, Damian isn't the only not-evil assassin I know.  There's Cass, who's a friend, and another bat family member.  Second, the Joker is the psycho with violent, mental problems, not Damian.  And third, Damian is not that bad.  When he wants to, he can be caring, and sweet-"

"Sweet?!  Okay, no offense to Damian, I know that he isn't 100% evil, but describing him as sweet-"

"Oh, shut up Lian," I snap at her, but not to harshly.

Lian's shocked face softens, and then she sniggers a bit.  "I'm sorry, but what exactly made you think that throwing yourself onto Damian Wayne-"

"Oh my god Lian! It wasn't like that!"  My cheeks are hot and blushing furiously, despite myself.

Lian just laughs a bit more at my red face.  "How long have you guys been together?"

"Two weeks," I confirm.

Lian looks surprised again.  "Two frickin weeks, and you didn't tell me!  So basically, from what you've told me, you two made out and decided to hook up?!"

"More or less."  My voice drips with sarcasm.

Lian continues to gape at me. "Wow, this means that Damian is your first boyfriend. So, why exactly did you choose Damian?"

I'm not quite sure. Even I don't know myself on why I chose him.  I don't really know what to do besides shrug. "I don't know, I just, did."

"You weren't high or drunk or anything like that-"

"X'hal no! I'm only eighteen Lian, why would I drink?! And of course I wasn't high! Why would you assume it's like Breaking Bad?! I'm not that stupid!" I'm glaring at her now. I feel as if my anger is going to make my hair set on fire.

Lian just raises her hands up in surrender. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you, or imply that you're stupid. Only implying that you're a little crazy to choose Damian."

The angry look on my face softens a bit. "I guess, yeah. Maybe I am bit crazy, but I don't regret it."

Lian smiles at me. "Well, you seem happy with that decision, although that won't stop me from teasing you about your relationship with him."

"You won't tease Damian, will you?"

"Hell no. I feel like he'll actually murder me if I do. Ya know, just take out that giant sword of his and slice me in half with it."

I smile, grateful. "X'hal, thanks Lian. I'm kind of nervous about actually dating Damian."

"Well don't worry, feeling nervous is natural. Although, I'm not quite sure how you can derive any joy from like, marrying Damian, and giving birth to his babies, although he would probably call it producing his heirs-"

"Oh my God Lian!" Now, I'm blushing even more than I was before.

Before she can see me any more embarrassed, I quickly hang up from the FaceTime, and close my laptop. My hair is now ablaze with purple fire out of embarrassment.

Marriage and producing heirs. Oh X'hal help Lian when I try to kill her.

- I'm sorry for not posting sooner! I've been having a stupid writer's block for story ideas.
