Chapter 4
The next day, Adam drove the car to our school since it's his turn.
"Adam," I turned to face him. "Do we have new student?" I asked, thinking about the girl I saw yesterday. I haven't gotten her appearance because I was awe-struck by her beauty.
"Yep," he said popping the p. "People around the school bully her. Why'd you ask?"
"Nothing," I shrugged and face the front.
People bully her? Why are they bullying her? I mean, she's beautiful. So why the f*ck are they bullying her? I was mad at those people who bully her.
I don't know what's going on with me. Why do I care, anyway? It's not my problem, it's hers. It's better not to get caught up with other people's problem.
But I'm still mad at them.
Adam stopped the car and I was pulled back to reality. We're at the school parking lot.
I stepped out of the car, so did Adam. Together we went to our friends, we were the populars in this school. Maybe Adam and I became one of them because of our looks. We changed since we moved here. My blonde hair became a golden reddish blonde and the color of my eyes became red, the color of fire. My body changed too, I was now bulkier but not too much though, that's gross. Maybe it was because of the training Adam and I do. Adam though, was now a few inch taller than me, his jet black hair was messy, giving him a bad boy aura, it's true. His silver eyes that sparkles like a cat's, and we have the same body-type.
The color of our eyes changed base on our element. Red for fire and Silver for wind. I'm not complaining though, I like the color red and element, fire.
The change of our appearance attracts people to us, especially girls. They go loco when we pass by them or when Adam talks to them. I don't mind it, but sometimes they're just annoying the hell out of me. Adam, though, likes the attention, especially if he can get them to bed. Or the public restrooms. Or anywhere. Except our house. I don't want any slut inside the house. And I'm thankful that Adam respects that.
We sat on our table and my friends continue their discussion. I just sat there playing with my phone.
I prefer to be alone in a quiet place rather than mingle. But that's hard to find especially if girls look at you everywhere you go. I can only achieve that when I'm in the house or went flying at the forest.
I don't like talking much. I only talk when the question is addressed to me. I only like talking to Adam since he's been there for me and he's my bestfriend. Cheesy, I know. But he's the only person in this school that knows me well.
The bell rang.
Adam and I stood from our table and said to our friends that we'll meet them at lunch.
As we walked down the hallway going to our class, I saw the new girl in our school. She was facing her locker, the door covering her face, I knew enough that it was her. I was about to approach her to say hi when I heard the quiet sobs escaping from her lips. A little frown formed on my face as I studied her.
"Hey," I said gently, not wanting to scare her.
She didn't heard me as she continued on sobbing. Her body shook with sobs.
I went near her, Adam following me, and gently tap her shoulder. Her body froze with shock and her sobs stopped. She turned at me and frowned, her tears flowing down her cheeks. My heart ache as I saw her in tears. I don't know what to do.
