Chapter 2

I was awaken by the smell of bacon.

I opened my eyes, not wanting to get up.

"Damon," Adam called from the kitchen. "Wake up! We still have to go to school." Good, he's awake. Note the sarcasm.

As much as I hate that my best friend was bitten by a half-wolf, half-hyena creature, I don't want him waking up early in the morning, making me go to school. His life is easy in highschool since he's smart, while I'm fighting for survival, 'cause, let's just say I'm not that smart.

"Damon!" He called again. "Don't make me use my wind to get you out of bed," he warned. Ugh, as much as I hate school, I also hate him using his wind to carry me all the way to the bathroom.

I groaned and got up, walked to the bathroom and took a 5-minute shower. Then changed into a black slim-straight pants, a fresh plain white v-neck shirt and my Vans shoes.

After I got changed, I went to the kitchen and hopped on the island.

I looked beside me and saw a cooked bacon. I stretched my hand to grab a bacon before Adam spanked my hand using the spatula he's holding.

"Uh-ah," he said. "Let's eat together."

"Yes, mom," I sighed and removed my hand.

While waiting for Adam to finish cooking the remaining bacon, I prepared our plates, glasses and a pitcher. I filled our glasses with water and finished setting the table.

He set the bacon at the center and we started eating.

"So," I said while taking a bite of the yummy bacon. "How was your wound?" I asked.

He swallowed then replied, "It healed already, though there is still a scar on my shoulder." He sighed, then added, "I'm sure it'll be gone."

"Yeah," I replied, then continued eating.

After eating our breakfast, we left our plates on the sink.

We got inside Adam's car, also given to him by his parents. I sat on the driver's seat since it's my turn to drive. I got out of the garage then drove to our school.

When we got there, we hopped outside the car and went to our classes.

When the final bell rang, indicating the end of the day, I went directly to our car, since I'm the one who's holding the key.

I waited for Adam outside the car, since the weather is nice today.

I sat on the hood, taking my phone out. I opened an app then played on it .I looked up at the student passing by.

I almost dropped my phone.

Passing right in front of me is a girl who is so beautiful. Nothing can compare to it. I know I'm exaggerating things, but still.

I stared at her for a little longer. She turned her head to my direction, maybe sensing that someone- a creepy guy- was staring at her? She looked at me, and I can't help but smile at her. She returned the smile and faced her talking friend again. I did the same and faced my phone.

"Sorry, I'm late," Adam apologized when he reached the car.

"It's alright," I replied, slipping my phone into my pocket then slid inside the car.

We left the school parking lot then went directly to our house.

"So," Adam broke the silence. "Do you have any plans this evening?" he asked.

"Nope," I replied popping the p, without taking my eyes off the road.

This chapter is suppose to be longer :(

I don't know what happened but the last part was deleted! Tsk tsk. I'll jut try and post it on the next chapter.
