•Background on the character•
Marissa has been living a lie for the last 16 years due to the feeling that something was missing. Marissa grew up having everything she could ever want including a castle, her parents ruling a kingdom, a stable full of horses, and clothes made personally for her. She lives in a dimension where medieval times still flourish and her father Arthur rules the kingdom. Making her a princess in the kingdom. Marissa never felt the need to make any friends because she knew there was someone who was missing from her life. She would normally spend her days reading and writing in a barn with her horse so that she could be alone.
She was ordinary until the day Merlin, her fathers servant, came into the barn to find her cleaning her horse. He had been by her fathers side since she was born and she knew more about his powers then anyone else in the kingdom.
For the last few years against her fathers wishes Marissa has been studying magic with Merlin and she has become his apprentice in the art of sorcery. She now has the power and ability to create portals and travel through time. Her magic has exceeded levels that Merlin never dreamed she would be able to reach. However, she knew she would one day have to tell her father about the magic in the kingdom once again. Merlin was meant to be the only sorcerer left in Camelot and her father had made no exceptions to his ruling.
