Secrets of Camelot

chapter 8

Marissa's eyes started to open just as Miles did as well. Allie wiped away a tear and she smiled at the sight of them getting up. "I really did it" Allie said hugging her sister and best friend.

"Did Anthony follow us?" Marissa asked

"I don't think so. According to legend he only tried to destroy Arthur" Miles said trying to help

"We need to find my parents. They need to understand what our destiny is" Marissa said finally getting herself all the way up off the ground

"Guinevere will understand because she is the one who told me that it is our destiny"

"After all of this I think destiny is going to be my least favorite word" Miles said trying to lighten the mood as the three of them started walking towards the castle

                    Miles stood in complete awe when they arrived at the front gates.  He saw these magnificent columns and the beautiful stain glass that surrounded every window in the castle.  He began to walk up the stairs but then a certain familiar looking guard came and stopped them from entering. "follow me and don't lift up your head" the voice said as he gave them all a hood to wear to hide their faces.  They finally made it inside the castle and headed straight to find Guinevere before anything. 
"Stay here and i'll let you know when the coast is clear"  Allie, Marissa, and Miles hide with their backs against a wall hoping that no guard would see them and kill them on sight.
Finally, they saw Guinevere walking past a hallway and Allie took off going to find her. "Allie come back here" the voice said easing his voice and removing his helmet.

"Merlin?!" Marissa said freaking out at the sight before her "I thought you had left us"

"I could never it's my job to keep this family safe and I intend to do that"

"Miles I need you to stay here and make sure no one sees you. Once we get Allie then we'll tell you if the coast is clear" Marissa said about to take off to go get Allie

"Marissa your not going anywhere" Merlin said "there are people here trying to kill you and your sister"

"what are you talking about?" Marissa asked just as Merlin grabbed both Marissa and Miles and dodged them into a nearby empty room.

"I need you both to stay here while I go find Allie"

              Merlin didn't answer Marissa's question and he immediately left and shut the door behind him. He ran over to find Allie standing in the doorway of her mothers bedroom. Guinevere was inside pacing around the room by herself. Arthur was busy somewhere else to be there with Guinevere. "Guinevere" Allie said in a quiet voice hoping no one else would hear her.

"Allie! how did you get here?"

"Marissa and I combined our powers and we were able to make it back to Camelot. What's going on here?"

"the kingdom is becoming under attack. All of the previous Saxons that invaded Camelot sixteen years ago are coming back"

"What can we do?" Allie asked as Guinevere

"Darling you and your sister need to bring together your magic as one"

"where is Marissa" Allie asked just as Merlin rushed into the room. He didn't say a word other then just giving Allie a suit of armor. He placed it in her hands and she looked down at the sterling silver that shined back into her face. Allie needed to know where Marissa was so they could save Camelot together.

                    Marissa was able to make her way out of the room wit the help of Miles.  She used her magic to magically dress herself in her suit of armor that she use to train in.  Marissa entered the room dressed in her armor and she saw Allie staring down at the armor that Merlin had given her. She was worried about what was to happen but both of the girls knew that they needed to find Arthur.  It was finally time for Guinevere to tell Arthur the truth about the prophecy he was given as a child.  Allie dressed herself in her armor and they all made they're way down to find Arthur before started a war that didn't need to lead to complete bloodshed on their kingdom.
