For the next few weeks Allie and Marissa were practicing with Merlin and they were becoming more confident with their magic. Every chance that they were doing magic together Miles was interested and wanted to see them do magic. It was near to impossible for them to ever go back home because the portals have been mostly secure. With still so much left to figure out Allie was determined to get back to Camelot and get to know her parents. Allie loved her parents in the mortal world but however she didn't trust them. Marissa however, wasn't in any rush to return to Camelot. She was enjoying living a normal life with magical powers and going to school, and meeting new people. It wasn't in any of their favors to have them return to Camelot. That was until Allie was able to contact Guinevere through a new version of a portal.
Allie was focusing really hard on her magic while Marissa just wasn't. Allie was able to master a certain spell that could allow her to travel into another object in another dimension. She was extremely happy with her accomplishments.
"Marissa I need for you for a second"
"What's going on Allie?" Marissa asked coming in wearing completely different clothing
"I think I might have found a way that we can talk to our parents in Camelot without having Guinevere know we are actually there"
"Allie we can't go back there. It's too dangerous. Our parents know what they are doing and once it's safe the will bring us back home"
"Marissa after almost sixteen years they never came back for me. Why is that?"
"I don't know that because I didn't know you existed either but as soon as I found out that you were real I came and found you. You never thanked me for that"
"Your right and I'm sorry that I never thanked you for introducing me to my real family but Marissa, I just have a feeling that something is missing"
"Like what?" Marissa asked
"I don't know but I just read about a really hard and complicated spell that can transport a person's spirit through time into another dimension. So we can go back to Camelot but not be in any danger because we would still be right here in my house"
"Look while you go and practice magic I have plans tonight an they are really important so I will see you tonight. Goodbye Allie"
"Plans? With who?" Allie asked getting angry
"Anthony" Marissa said as she grabbed her new jacket and walked out of Allie's room leaving her there alone.
Allie slammed her book down on her desk and she continued to practice some spells. After about an hour or two of just pacing around her bedroom and messing up all of her furniture due to messing up her magic a familiar face finally came into the room. It was Miles. He sat down on the bay window and waited for Allie to continue her magic. When she didn't Miles just started to shake his head. Allie was already in a bad mood so she just stood there with her arms crossed. Miles knew that she wasn't mad at him and when he didn't say a word Allie let out a large sigh. Along with that sigh she accidentally let a huge burst of magic to come from her fingertips.
"That's what my favorite thing is about you Allie"
"What are you talking about Miles? I almost could've killed you"
"Yeah you could've but your learning to control your powers while Marissa isn't and your going to be able to make it home to Camelot very soon"
"I just don't know what to do. Marissa is losing her sense of ancestry back in Camelot an she is seriously starting to become like a normal teenager"
