Secrets of Camelot

chapter 4

                 Allie stood there staring down at Marissa's hand and wondered if she was crazy or not. She took a sharp hold of Marissa's hand and then something spectacular happened. A small burst of light sparked from between their finger tips and then the room itself began to shake. Allie quickly ripped her hand away.

"what the hell just happened?" Allie shouted

"I don't know but we can figure it out"

"look we may be twins and I may come from Camelot but this is all too much"

"Allie I really need you to trust me. As soon as you feel the power in your necklace then you will be able to get to Camelot"

"I can't just leave my friends and family behind"

"your not, I just want to introduce you to your parents and show you your kingdom. Just once"

"what if it doesn't work?"

                                Marissa took a hold of Allie hand once again and then there was now no burst of light. The two thought they were safe from the magic when suddenly there was a large consumption of smoke. it was a large purple color and it completely engulfed their bodies. Allie was freaking out but she couldn't let go of Marissa's hand. 
            The two had awoken from what seemed to feel like a slumber that was longer than time itself. as soon as Allie opened her eyes she immediately jumped to her feet and started sprinting her way into a forest away from Marissa. Marissa didn't get up fast enough but once she did she took off in her Camelot attire to go find Allie before anyone in the kingdom did.

"Allie please come back" Marissa shouted

"Marissa I understand that you are just trying to help me but I honestly can't go through with this anymore" Allie said entering a small stable. Marissa chased in after her.

"You really are my sister!" Marissa said as she entered into the stable. "I know that for sure because you directly came into this stable. These are my horses and right out that window is our castle"

Allie walked over to the window and her jaw dropped when she looked up to see the castle. "wow! I can't believe this at all"

"put this on" Marissa tossed a large garment with a hood over to Allie. she immediately put it on and was actually starting to believe in Marissa. "I'm going to take you to your parents now"

"I don't know if I can do this"

"our father is very demanding and controlling but in his heart he is devoted to his family. He is also devoted to his kingdom and the prophecy that gave him the throne"

"the prophecy of King Arthur is real?" Allie asked

"Yes, he knew my mother ever since he was a child and she gave him the courage to believe in the prophecy. Then as a grown up he pulled the sword from the stone and he went straight to my mother and proposed to her that night"

"that's such a romantic story! I never knew all those stories were actually real. Let alone to have them be my own history and to have these people be my real family"

"you ready?" Marissa asked

          The two girls stood together and Marissa led Allie into the castle where they searched each room for their parents. Every time that the girls would see another servant of the castle they would hide just to make sure no one saw them. Allie could feel her heart racing and beating out of her chest.
             Finally Allie and Marissa made it to the large dining room in the castle.
