Secrets of Camelot

chapter 6

*later that night*

Miles came over to visit Marissa and Allie however he also wanted to make sure that there was no distraction on their European History project.

"Allie we need to talk to your parents about The Order of the Bear"

"no Miles i promise i can figure it out by myself"

"what's The Order of the Bear?" Marissa asked

"that's the problem Marissa we don't have any idea what the Order even is" Miles said

"Mom can you come here for a minute!" Allie shouted through the door hoping her mother would hear her

"Allie are you alright?" her mother asked

"yes i'm fine. I have a King Arthur question for you. What is The Order of the Bear?"

"well that is completely outrageous of you to ask me; your father and I are working on that subject right now. Come downstairs and join us"

"Sweetheart, Allie and Miles and doing a project in school about The Order. we must tell them all of our research"

"That stuff is complete bumbo jumbo.....it's all folklore and legend about King Arthur"

"Don't listen to him Allie. The Order of the Bear is a secret organization that believes that King Arthur will one day be reincarnated"

"wait you mean bring back Camelot" Allie asked out loud just wondering. "as in bring Camelot to our world"

"when is Arthur meant to return?" Miles asked

"Arthur is said to return when he is needed most of all. When there is need for somebody to bring us out of the dark ages and into a new age of enlightenment"

                   Allie was completely in shock from what she was hearing about The Order of the Bear.  Miles was quite intrigued with all of the research that Allie's parents were doing as their career.  Things about Arthurian Times made Miles real a certain power inside of himself.  He also loved the fact that Allie herself was becoming a part of Arthurian literature due to her parents reluctant talks, lectures, essays, and textbooks of King Arthur and Camelot.  He was not aware of Allie and Marissa's real family and they didn't know how they could even begin to tell him. 
                Marissa sat on the couch in complete fear.  Her eyes were growing puffy because after all of the hate and torment that she had both received and given to her parents she knew that they did not need to be reincarnated because they were alive in another dimension.  Camelot was still there even though she, Allie and Merlin were the only ones to know the truth.  Marissa also believed that there were certain things that Allie's mother knew and just wasn't telling them what it was.

After a long conversation about The Order of the Bear Miles was gathering his things and getting ready to go home. Marissa then came into the room and began talking to Miles as a friend.

"Miles can I speak to you for a moment?"

"of course Marissa"

"There's something I think you should know about Allie and I"

"What is it?" Miles asked

Just as Marissa was about to tell Miles what she needed to say she heard the door creek open. Allie disrupted them and invited herself into her own bedroom. She crossed her arms and said "Marissa what are you doing?"

"I'm going to tell Miles the truth even if you don't. Allie come on we need more then Merlin to help us while we're here until we can get home"

"Marissa that place isn't my home. And besides I had my own intentions on when to tell Miles the truth"
