he had completely forgotten about the wedding.
I remember that it was like two days before and he was asking why we were trying on dresses and why all the guys were buying suits. our trainer's wedding and he forgot. I remember our trainer talked about it so often and it was obvious that he was just never paying attention.
"And that was when he first told me he liked me. Cheesy and unsatisfying I know," i say and look at my other members eyes wide anticipating more.
"No no no no no the guy telling me his feelings and making the first move is totally my style," jiyeon said and heejin nodded in agreement.
"what happened next unnie what happened!!!" eunji said anxious and curiously.
"the wedding was a bust. i had to go with him to buy a suit because he 'didn't feel like wearing any of the ones he had in his closet' and then the night before he caught food poisoning," the girls laughed.
"that's fake right?" jiyeon said giggling.
"i bet you guys had this super romantic night and he said something cheesy and you responded with something cheesy but you don't want to tell us because you're embarassed," eunji said drawing looks of agreement from the others.
"no i promise this is really what happened. i wasted my whole day off going suit shopping with him and he ended up sick. It was such a let down."
"so the reason why this is important to the story of your relationship is because it was basically your first date because he had told you that he liked you!" eunji tried again.
"wait what?" i said.
"going to buy the suit! you spent your whole day with him and then you were super disappointed because he couldn't go to the wedding and tell all his friends that he had gotten this suit with you while you guys were on a date," she said giving me suspicious eyes.
"ok i was disappointed because he couldn't make it to the wedding but not because of that. I was disappointed because i really wanted to dance with him. i know cheesy for real and like weird but it would be the two of us in nice clothing dancing at a wedding which just seemed really nice. i know it's stupid now but back then it was such a fantasy for me. Also, going suit shopping was most definitely not a date because i went with jinyoung, jaebum, and jackson."
"UNNIE THAT'S A GREAT FANTASY TO HAVE!!!" jimin said a bit too loudly attracting the confused stare of our manager, "I MEAN WE SHOULD ALL BE HAVING FANTASIES ABOUT WORKING SUPER HARD AND BECOMING VERY SUCCESSFUL!!" she continued yelling. i glared at her, "saved it," she whispered to me.
"anyways, after that we had like 5 months of happiness where it was obvious to both of us that we were in a relationship but we just couldn't label it because of the dating ban. then it all went down the drain."
"ok wait two things. one for starters did you guys ever kiss. and the second, the most obvious questions, what the fuck happened?" eunwoo asked attracting nods from the others.
"we kissed twice and by kissed i don't mean make out. i mean there were two kisses and that was it. second, that's a long story and i honestly don't know the whole thing which is ironic because i'm a main character but i'll try to explain it to you guys. ok so basically-"
"wait before you start this thing on how your relationship died please tell us about these kisses because i know i'm not the only person who is intrigued," eunji said.
"first kiss with him was during a late night dance practice session between the two of us. we were the only ones there and he had just taught me this super hard choreo and at the end we just hugged and that slyly turned into a kiss. kiss two we had been having conflicting schedules for like two weeks and we finally found time to hung out and at the end we kissed. done."
"personally, i'm unsatisfied," eunwoo said.
"i agree," said jiyeon.
"what now?"
"i don't know.. both of your kisses seem very dramalike." eunwoo answered.
"i promise you that this is the truth and i know it seems very unlikely but it is the truth," i yawned, "do you guys know what time our next schedule is?"
"i think there was a random cancellation or something and we're going back to the dorm," jimin answered.
"great because i'm exhausted."
"Unnie you need to finish the story!!" eunji said.
"i'll finish tomorrow i'm so exhausted right now oh my god i'm going to sleep!" i said and laid down on the floor.
"soyeon wait! you need to post a photo on instagram! i know you can do it tomorrow but that's what you've been saying this whole week so do it now please! if you weren't promoting i think a lot of your fans would think you were dead you're never on the instagram. thankfully the other members are but still," our manager said and i nodded.
i picked up my phone and took like 15 selfies. i gave the other members my phone and asked them to pick the right one.
i post it and continue my nap.
