Chapter 2 - P.E

*Your POV*

   My last period is PE. Aphmau isn't really there. But Lucinda and Cadenza would be there so that's good. Right?

   We were at the locker room getting dressed. I was already ready but Lucinda was still in one of the stalls getting ready.

   "My brother Laurance would be there, too." Cadenza says.

   "You have a brother?!"

   "Well, yeah. Adoptive, though."

   "I don't see anything wrong with that. What's he like?"

   "Total. Cassanova. But once you get to know him, he's a pretty decent guy. Girls all over the school fall head over heels for him and his friend, Garroth. How about you? Do you have a crush or something?"

   "Meh. I'm not really into that kind of stuff. But who knows, maybe I'll fall for someone this year or maybe I won't. Probably not, though. I'm really...inattentive to those kinds of things."

   "Bummer. But I hope you do, though. I mean there's a lotta hot guys in this school."

   "All I can say is whatever. I just go with the flow."

   "Probably the best choice."

   "Guys, let's go. We wouldn't wanna be late, would we?" Lucinda said as she walked out the stall.

   "Says the one who came out late." Cadenza.

   "Yeah, let's go." Me.

   I tied my hair in a ponytail as we were walking towards the quad. Hopefully we do soccer or maybe basketball. Last year, I didn't really do well in volleyball.

   But, of course, it had to be volleyball. Seriously, is volleyball all they teach here?

   And great. Ivy's here. What joy.

   Since Teony isn't here anymore, she doesn't get to be team captain and I don't get to be chosen first even if I'm a crappy player.

   The team captains were some guy named Hyron and a girl named Violet. Meh, I don't really care about them. But it's actually gonna be up to them to pick me so...

   "Ok! First one to pick would be Hyron!" Our gym teacher said.

   The were already with their seventh members (ten each) and I was still not picked. Which was evident because some people already saw me play, and I'm not their friend.

   Lucinda and Cadenza were already chosen and that Laurance guy Cadenza said was her brother, was chosen too. Humiliating.

   Though seeing Laurance, I can already guess why he's a heartthrob. With his oh-so light blue eyes and his long and shaggy brown hair, plus that smile, if I cared about those stuff, I probably would've fallen for him, too.
