Chapter 25 - Sports Fest

Okay, so the last time I saw school this busy was when Stage Acts occurred. Everything's crazy! There were booths everywhere, werewolves being thrown out windows and driving Aphmau crazy, people running around everywhere and the school's speaker calling players nonstop! Like I said, crazy.
"(Y/n)~Chan!" Kawaii~Chan calls me over to her booth. "Would (Y/n)-Chan like some baked goods? Kawaii~Chan made them herself!"
"Oh? What've you got?"
"Kawaii~Chan's got cupcakes, scones, cookies, cakes and brownies!"
"D-Did you just say...cupcakes?" A blushing guy whom I think is Garroth's brother approaches meekly to Kawaii~Chan's stall.
"Yes! Would you like some? Kawaii~Chan's got some MLH themed ones, red velvet--"
"MY LITTLE HORSIES THEMED?!?" The guy almost yells. I think his name was...Shade? Sean? Bane?... "I-I mean... I would like to try some of those, please." He looks down.
Kawaii~Chan giggles and hands him over the little pink box. "Here you go, Zane~Kun!" So that's his name!
"That was...interesting." I say.
"So, (Y/n)~Chan? Anything you might want?"
I smile at her. "Sure. Cookies please, one in those tiny little jars."
"Sure thing!" She then hands me the cookies, I pay and thank her for them and then I go on.
!!! VOLLEYBALL PARTICIPANTS, JUNIORS AND SOPHOMORES, PLEASE HEAD TO THE VOLLEYBALL COURT RIGHT AT THIS INSTANT !!!
The speaker announces and I sped through the crowd to get to the court. There I met with Katelyn and the others facing Vylad, Aphmau, Travis, and their teammates.

Details aside, we lost. Although I must say they were pretty hard opponents, I'll give them that.
Katelyn then approached me. "Great game, huh?"
I nod as I drank my water.
"Hey," I almost spit my drink as soon as I heard Laurance.
I then remember, we were friends. I smile at him. "Hey, how was basketball?"
"Awesome. We beat the seniors, but lost to the freshmen. Sophomores, we still haven't played with them just yet." He says.
Obviously Katelyn was shocked. "You guys...."
I shrug. "We made up. We're friends again." I felt a sharp pain in my chest when I said 'friends'. Am i seriously friendzoning myself right now?
"Well, that's great! That's amazing." Katelyn smiles.
!!! SOCCER PARTICIPANTS, JUNIORS AND SOPHOMORES, PLEASE HEAD TO THE SOCCER FIELD NOW !!!
"Well, that's our cue." Laurance says, reaching for his bag.
"See ya later, Katelyn." We rush to the soccer field with all our friends practically staring us down.
"So you like the attention?" Laurance jokes.
"I'd like it more once I steal the spotlight on the field. I'm totally better than you." I punch him playfully on the arm.
