20 Days Before Main S.A.P Event
This is one of those times when heaven and hell decide to collide and have a party. Erm...and this is one of those times where even my mind doesn't make sense.
The past week, we've been practicing a song sheet Nicole prepped for us. Nicole writing a song, huh? Who would've seen that coming?
And apparently, it's a love song me and Laurance has to sing to. But of course, Katelyn being our director (she kept bossing away until she took us over), she said facial expressions, whole body gestures, and eye communication mattered. Dear Irene...
"Cut!!!" Katelyn screeched.
"Uhh..Katelyn? Isn't that expression only used on theatrical performances?" Travis said meekly.
"I CAN SAY 'CUT' WHENEVER I WANT, TRAVIS!" Katelyn shot back.
E-Eh...same thing over and over. We kinda got used to Katelyn's yelling.
"Now...(Y/n), please get into character. You're showing too much awkwardness towards Laurance." Katelyn observed us a bit, while I myself can barely keep my face from heating up. "How about..." She took my hand and handed it to Laurance.
"SQUEEEEEEE!!!!! Kawaii~Chan's ships are sailing...!" Kawaii~Chan squealed. "First Aarmau and now....Laur{you}!!"
I don't care about Kawaii~Chan anymore, I'm just hoping my hands aren't sweating!
"Hey, don't get all nervous around me, Princess." Laurance winked at me.
I tried keep my tough act up. "I'm surprised you haven't fainted yet. I mean, this is THE 'Princess' we're talking about."
"Hm? What's that? Sounds to me that you want me as your prince." He smirked.
"It's just holding your hand, frog prince. Don't make a big deal outta this." I snap, smirking myself.
"Oh? It's just holding hands, 'ey?" He then put his arm around me. "How about this? Is it just putting my arms around you?"
Of course, I was about to freak out. But thanks to Katelyn, I was saved. Well, saved and screwed.
"You, (Y/n) and Laurance. Separate from the group. I'd like to have a moment with the band, while you two get away from here and practice your parts." Katelyn turned to me with her death glare. "And (Y/n), make it realistic."
"S-Sure..." I stammered, still freaking out 'cause Laurance still has his arm around me.
"Got it." Laurance. He grabbed my hand and pulled me outside. Well, we were currently practicing at Aphmau's house since she has permission for her garage.
Again, I'm missing the point here. LAURANCE IS HOLDING MY FREAKING HAND, PEOPLE.

Personally, I think the song's too love-y. And the actions are just...ugh.
Don't get me wrong, the song's beautiful, and thanks to Nicole for that. It's tragic, romantic and...abnormally relatable...
"You see anything...unique about the song?" I ask Laurance. We were currently sitting at the grass of Aphmau's garden. Good thing Aphmau's mom is out.
"Huh..? Unique by what?" Laurance.
"N-Nothing.."
"I knew it. You're probably thinking about what moves that will get you close to me." But of course, we can never have a normal conversation.
But I'm not really in the mood for this right now.
"You're not as honest as you think you are, huh, Laurance?" We were startled for Cadenza's appearance. She was holding paper bags as if she went shopping. "But then again, neither of you are."
"E-Eh...?" Me.
She smiles sweetly and shrugs as if she said nothing. "I brought your outfits for the performance. I made them myself. Katelyn asked me to." She raised her bags.
Her words kept playing on and on in my mind.
You're not as honest as you think you are, huh, Laurance?
Honest about what?
