*Laurance's POV*

I contemplate at Garroth's message. He said he wanted to hang out but I'm not really sure. But well, yeah sure.

Garroth: Wanna talk about what's been going on with you and (Y/n)? I'm up for the park.

Laurance: Me and (Y/n)? More like me with (Y/n)... Yeah, I'll see ya.

I left my phone and put on my usual tee and jeans, told Cadenza I was going out, and got my phone and went to the park.

*Your POV*

I watch as Eyanne struggles on her witchery homework. It's not even literal witchery she's doing, she's just answering some identification questions even I could answer.

But there's just one question on my mind I can't manage to understand.

'You're not as honest as you think you are, huh, Laurance?'

I want to answer it myself, I just don't want to make any assumptions that may lead to disappointment that I caused myself. Damn you, Laurance.

"You've been off lately.." Sly approached me.

"And so?" I question.

"Can you, like, talk to the dog where you can't creep me out? You're distracting me. Can't you see how hard this is?" Eyanne complained.

I looked at the questions. "I don't really see how hard it is..and I'm not even a witch." I stand up from the beanbag chair. "But sure, me and Sly are gonna go out for a walk."

"Way ahead of ya!" Sly ran towards the door as I went and took his leash.

I looked at our mom's room, still closed.. It's already been so long, though..

"I don't understand why I can't eat chocolate. I mean, you all seem to enjoy it, why not me? It's not like it's gonna kill me or anything. I just wanna taste it! And your mom's cooking, too! Why is it that I have to eat dog food while you enjoy you mom's cooking?? Well, back then, that is. But it seems like Eyanne's and your cooking are good, too!.." Sly went on and on and on and on while on our walk. Thank Irene for cellphones. This way I don't have to listen to his worthless rants.

Just then a guy bumped into me.

"Sorry!" I say.

"Tch.." And he walked away. What's his problem?

"He's grumpy. Anyway, so why don't we get a doggie treats dispenser...." Sly continued. Sheesh. Will this dog ever shut up?

"Yo, German Shepherd! You keep babblin' for nothin'! You actually talkin' to yer owner? Ha!" A great dane we passed by said.

"Oh hey, Knight! My name's on my collar, too. You could see it if you look." Then Sly smirked. "And unlike yours, my owner has Animal Magicks."

"Haha! Good one, uhh... Sly. Animal Magicks hasn't been around much. Don't tell me your kind of breed got that lucky."

"Uhm...yeah, we should go. See ya, Knight. Try stay out of too much fights, will you?" I say as I pulled on Sly's leash.

"(Y/n)..?" A voice I've been wanting to hear for so long called me name.
