CHAPTER -34

But i have added a background music to the chapter.

Next morning Nandini got up early, had bath and performed pooja and went to the kitchen and prepared quick breakfast for everyone.

Then she went to Nyonika's room and gave her coffee and tea to Raj.

Then Nandini went to Manik's room to wake him up.

She knocked the door but there was no answer.

Nandini knocked two more times but still there was no response.

So she slightly opened the door and saw that Manik was still sleeping peacefully.

Nandini entered the room and nodded her head in disbelief.

Manik had to join office from today and he had to report at 10 am. And he was still sleeping with just two hours left. He needed atleast one hour to reach his office from home.

Nandini went towards the side table of Manik's bed and picked up his phone. She opened the playlist of his phone and played a song in it on high volume and kept the phone near Manik's ear.

Manik got up with a jerk on hearing the loud music near his ears.

He searched for the source of the sound and switched off the phone immediately.

He was still sleepy and was confused as to how the song started all of a sudden on its own.

Manik opened his eyes on hearing the giggles of Nandini.

He looked here and there and saw Nandini standing near the side table laughing.

Manik - Nandini ye tumne Kia hai na?

Nandini acted innocent and said -
Maine kya Kia ? Kya hua Manik tum itne chaunke hue kyu lag rahe ho?

Manik by now had understood that it was Nandini's prank.

Manik - Acha!!!!!! To tumhe Kuch nahi pata. Aur tumne ye nahi Kia.

Nandini - No. Maine to sach me kuch nahi Kia.

Manik - Ruko tum abhi Batata hoon tumhe.

Saying this Manik got up and went towards Nandini.

Nandini stopped laughing and gulped her saliva.

She started walking backwards and Manik kept walking towards Nandini.

Nandini's back hit the wall and she closed her eyes in fear.

Manik came near Nandini and raised his hand and played the music system in high volume which was exactly behind Nandini.

Nandini opened her eyes and kept both her hands on her ears.

The sound was deafening so Nandini moved far away from the wall.

Manik started laughing seeing Nandini's panic stricken face.

Manik - Nandini just look at your face in the mirror once. Tumhara chehra dekhkar aisa lagraha hai ki tumne abhi abhi bhoot dekh liya.

Nandini - Manikkkk..... You.... You are very bad. Jao mai tumse baat nahi karungi.

Saying this she turned to another direction.

Manik self thought- Lagta hai Kuch zyada hogaya.

Then he came infront of Nandini and held his ears with both his hands and said- Sorry..... sorry..... sorry...... I won't repeat it again.

Nandini - It's Ok.

Manik - Arey Waah itni jaldi maan gayi. Mujhe laga atleast 1 hour lagega tumhe manane me.

Nandini on hearing"one hour" looked at the wall clock and saw that the time was 8:30.

Nandini - Oh God. Manik time dekho. You are getting late for your office.
Just one and half hour baki hai. Jaldi jao ready hojao.

Manik - Oh Hello Madam. Der sirf mujhe nahi tumhe bhi horahi hai. Remember you have your classes at 10 am as well.

Nandini - Yes I remember. Abjao Jake ready hojao.

Saying this Nandini went out of Manik's room and Manik went to have bath and get ready.

Nandini went down to the kitchen and took the breakfast to the breakfast table.

In the meantime Manik also got ready and came down.

He took his seat at the table and asked- So Nandini any special dish today for me.

Nandini - Papaji aur apke liye Gobi ke Parathe banaye hai maine. Aur Mummyji ke liye Poha.

Manik - Wow Poha.Let me taste it.

Manik took a spoonful of Poha and ate it.

As soon as he put it in his mouth he immediately spit it.

Nandini - Kya hua. Theek nahi bana hai kya?

Manik - Nandini itna saara namak daal diya tumne .

Nandini - Namak???? But Maine to Zara sa hi dala tha.

Manik understood that it must be Soha's deed.

Manik - It's Ok. Leave it.

Nandini nodded and went to the kitchen to bring the extra Poha which she had prepared for herself to serve it to Nyonika.

In the meantime Manik added a lot of chilli powder to Soha's sandwich.

Nyonika, Shanti and Soha came for breakfast and settled themselves. Raj had an urgent meeting so he left early.

Nandini brought the Poha and served everyone the breakfast.

Soha had an evil smirk on her face.

She Was happy that Nyonika would again taunt Nandini for being careless.

But she was shocked that Nyonika was eating the Poha as if it was too delicious. She couldn't understand that how come Nyonika was able to eat the Poha with so much of salt.

While thinking of all this he took a bite of her sandwich and her eyes popped out.

Her mouth started to burn.

She asked for water.

Nandini immediately offered her a glass of water but Manik took it and drank it.

Manik - Sorry wo mujhe pyaas lagi thi. Soha why don't you take water by yourself. It's kept right in front of you.

Soha took the water and drank the whole jug of water.

Nyonika and Shanti were surprised.

Nyonika - What Happened Soha? Everything ok.

Soha threw an angry glare at Nandini and left.

Soha thought that it was Nandini who did this.

But Nandini was herself confused as to how this all happened.

She looked at Manik who was smiling.

As soon as Manik saw Nandini looking at him, he  acted as if he was eating.

Nandini understood that it was Manik who did all this.

Manik and Nandini finished eating and got up.

Manik - Nandini dekh kya rahi ho. Chalo jaldi der horahi hai.

Saying this he bid goodbye to Nyonika and Shanti and left with Nandini.
