CHAPTER -15

After changing his clothes, Manik came down and finished the cooking business with his Bua's help.

Shanti served the breakfast .

Nyonika ate the Aloo ke Parathe and said- Ye kisne banaye hai.

Shanti - Kyu theek nahi bane hai kya.

Nyonika - Theek hai.

Shanti -Jisne bhi banaya hai bahut pyaar se banaya hai.

Nyonika made a face thinking that Nandini has made it.

Shanti - Puchogi nahi kisne banaya hai.

Nyonika - Kisne.

Manik - Mom guess kijiye.

Nyonika got confused and then realised seeing Manik's excitement.

Nyonika - Manik ye tumne banaya hai.

Manik - Yes Mom. It's me who has made it. Specially for you.

Nyonika - Sach me.

Manik - Ji Mom.

Raj- Arey Bhai koi mujhe bhi do Parathe. Mai bhi to dekhu mere Bete ne kaise Parathe banaye hai.

Shanti served the Parathe to Raj.

Raj finished eating by praising Manik and licking his fingers.

Manik felt happy that his parents liked the food prepared by him for the first time.

Raj - Ye sab to theek hai. But Beta aage kya karne ka irada hai.

Nyonika - Aap bhi na. Subah subah shuru hogaye . Abhi din hi kitne hue hai usey aaye hue. Thoda enjoy Marlene do mere Bachche ko.

Manik side hugged Nyonika and said-
Mom you are the best. Love you.

Nyonika kissed Manik's forehead.

Raj- Haan Haan . Aur bigado usey.

Nyonika - Of course bigadungi. Mera ladka Beta Jo hai.

Manik - Dad don't worry. I have planned everything.

Raj - What plan?

Manik - I have received job offers from few international ad agencies that work in India.

I will get a job eventually in anyone of them because I was trained by Mark Harvey , the best in the business . The interviews begin from next week.

Raj- That sounds good. All the best Beta.

Manik - Thanks Dad.

Raj - Acha Nyo mai office ke liye nikalta hu.

Nyonika - Ok Bye.

Manik - Bye Dad.

Raj - Bye bye.

Saying this he left.

Nyonika finished her breakfast and left for a meeting as she was supervising an event for marketing their company's product.

Shanti too went to the kitchen after eating.

Manik realized that Nandini hadn't come down for breakfast.

He thought to check what was wrong with her.

So he went to her room and knocked.

There was no response.

He called out her name from outside still there was no response.

He went inside her room.

Nandini wasn't there.

Then he thought may be she is on the terrace .
He rushed there to find Nandini lost in her thoughts.

Manik - Nandini.

Nandini didn't respond.

He went a little closer and said- Nandini....

Nandini turned to him and looked at him angrily.

Nandini - Kya hai. Ab kyu aye ho.

Manik - Oh My God. Itna gussaaaa...

Nandini - Hum gussaaa nai kar rahe hai. Aap jayiye yaha se.

Manik -But meri baat to suno....

Nandini - Please jayiye. Hume baat nai karni aapse.

Manik smiled seeing her getting so angry on such a small thing.

Manik - But Maine kiya kya Jo mujhse baat nai karni.

Nandini - Acha kaise to apko kuch pata hi nahi.

Manik made a puppy face and said- Nahi mujhe nahi pata tum kis baare me bol rahi ho.

Nandini - Apne Buaji se jhoot kyu kaha......

Manik - Acha to yeh baat hai.

Nandini - Haan yahi baat hai. Hum apse bahut gussa hai.

Manik - Acha Baba sorry.

Nandini - Nahi chahiye apka sorry.

Manik held his ears and did sit-ups saying sorry with each sit-up.

Nandini's anger melted seeing this.

Nandini - Yeh kya kar rahe hai aap. Ruk jayiye.

Manik - Maine tumhe naraz karne ki galti ki hai. To yeh uski punishment hai. Jab tak tum mujhse gussa rahogi tab tak mai sit-ups karta rahunga.

He continued with the sit-ups.

Nandini - Rukiye. Hum gussa nahi hai apse.

Manik - Sach . To tumne maaf kardiya mujhe.

Nandini - Haan maaf kiya. Pehle aap ye end kijiye.

Manik - Ok .

He stopped doing sit-ups.

Manik - thank God tumne mujhe rok diya warna to mere legs gaye the aaj .

Nandini giggled hearing this.
