CHAPTER -41

Nandini lied on the bed and turned to the other side and closed her eyes.

Manik went out feeling more guilty.

As soon as Manik left, Nandini opened her eyes and with a lot of difficulty got up and sat .

Nandini -

I am sorry Manik for behaving in this way. I know that you must be feeling guilty but I can't help it. I had promised myself that I will stay away from you. But whatever happened....... It shouldn't have happened. I shouldn't have said out my feelings loudly to you.

Nandini touched her lips with her hand and recollected the kiss.

Nandini -

This is the best memory of Manik that I will be taking with me when I have to leave his house permanently.

But will Manik remember me or will he forget me?

Nandini you are really stupid.

He will get busy in his life and with Aliya. Why would he even think about you ?

Nandini slept due to the effect of the injection given by the doctor.

Meanwhile Manik was still sitting on the hospital bench outside Nandini's room lost in his thoughts.

Manik - Why do I always loose myself whenever I am with Nandini?

Why do I always get attracted to her?

This has never happened with Aliya.

I like her a lot but I never feel anything for Aliya just like the way I feel for Nandini.

Manik covered his face with both his hands and said- Manik stop thinking of all these things. She is getting married in a few days. I shouldn't have done that. Godddd.... What was I thinking????

Then he remembered that the doctor has said that Nandini was taking anti depressants.

Manik took out his phone and dialled Shanti's number.

He told her about Nandini and asked her to come to the hospital quickly .

Shanti rushed to the hospital on hearing this.

She reached the hospital and saw Manik standing at the reception.

Shanti - Manik..... Nandini Kaha hai wo theek to hai na?

Manik - Bua relax Nandini is fine now. Aap Uske paas baithiye mai abhi aata hoon.

Shanti - Kaha jarahe ho tum Manik?

Manik - Kuch important kaam hai. I will be back soon.

Saying this he left from the hospital.

Shanti went and checked on Nandini and found her asleep.

In the meantime Manik went to his house and went Straight to Nandini's room.

He searched Nandini's cupboard so that he could find any pills.

But while searching he found something which surprised him .

Manik found his shirt in Nandini's cupboard hidden carefully.

Manik self thought- Ye to meri shirt hai. But Nandini ke cupboard me kaise????May be the servants had kept it by mistake.

Then Manik began searching for the pills and he found the pills.

Manik - So the doctor was right. NANDINI is taking anti depressants. But why? What is troubling her?

Suddenly he realized that the shirt which he found was the same which he had worn on the night of their kidnapping.

Manik -

Ye toh wahi shirt hai Jo Maine us din pehni thi. Aur fir i gave it to Nandini after rescuing her from the kidnappers. But ....... I think something has happened that night. Coz Nandini is behaving indifferently to me from that time itself. I have to find out.

Manik called Lata, the caretaker of the orphanage and asked her to send him the cctv footage of the garden of that kidnapping day.

Lata sent the footage to Manik.

Manik went to his room and checked the footage .

After a few minutes Manik was shocked to see the view infront of him on his laptop......
