Coming back to the chapter,

Manik and Nandini reached Malhotra Mansion.

Manik got out of the car and opened the door for Nandini.

Nandini was lost in her thoughts and didn't realise that they had reached home.

Manik saw this and called out Nandini's name.

Manik-

Nandini..... We have reached home.

Let's go inside.

Nandini was in two minds whether to go inside the house or not.

Manik forwarded his hand .

Nandini looked at Manik's hand and then at his face.

Manik's face fell as Nandini didn't give her hand .

He was about to take back his hand when Nandini held his hand and got off the car.

Manik smiled a little and took Nandini alongwith him towards the house.

He rang the doorbell while Nandini stood behind him and a servant opened the door.

Nyonika who was in the hall with Aaliya and Soha stood up and said-

Manik kaha chala gaya tha Beta is waqt tu?

Pata hai mai kabse tera wait kar rahi thi...

Manik- Mom wo mai kisi ko wapas lane gaya tha.

Nyonika- Kise Beta?

Manik moved aside and Nyonika's eyes fell on Nandini.

Nyonika- Nandini.... Ye yaha ????

Manik- Yes. Ab ye yahi rahegi.

Nyonika-

But Beta iski to shadi ho chuki hai to ye yaha kaise reh sakti hai.

Isey to iske husband ke ghar rehna hoga na.

Manik-
You are absolutely right Mom.

She is married now and this is her house . So she will stay here.

Nyonika- Matlab... Mai samjhi nahi.

Manik- Matlab ye ke maine aur Nandini ne shadi karli hai.

Nyonika- What??? Kya bakwas kar rahe ho Manik tum?

Manik- Mom its the truth.

Nyonika- But how? I mean why? Nandini ki shadi to already ho chuki thi aur vidai bhi isi ghar se hui thi phir how is it possible ?

Meanwhile Shanti also came there as the servants had informed her about the arrival of Nandini.

Shanti rushed to Nandini and hugged her.

Shanti- Beta ye sab kya ho raha hai?

Manik- Bua its a long story.

Nyonika-

But Manik you can't marry her.

Tum aisa kaise karsakte ho.....

Apni life ka itna bada decision le liya tumne aur mujhse poochna to dur, batana tak zaruri nahi samjha.
