Maybe it can be?! I can't decide whether this guy is for real or not. I know how boys are. They'll tell you one thing so they can get another.

For example, the last Tinder boy I attempted to pursue only wanted one thing, to get in my pants. Rest assured I did not allow him, but he sweet talked me up until the point of asking. I'm hoping Luke is different, and actually curious to get to know me better.

I really need to act like I know what I'm doing here. Boys and I have never really gone so well. The only real boyfriend I had was freshman year of high school. His name was Danny, and the farthest we had ever gone was holding hands on the way to second period. I either scare them away, or none of them find me interesting. I have struggled with self confidence for a while, so Tinder seemed fitting to me. Only allowing to see pictures you have posted, not truly talking in person. It takes away some of the fear, but I don't know how in the world I would be able to meet this boy in person.

Riley: Usually my friends and I go to parties around campus when we can, go shopping, visit other friends in the city. We typically skip the tourist attractions considering we have seen them all for the past 18 years.

Riley: Well, I have a baby sister, Ashlyn, she's still in high school. Our parents got divorced 3 years ago. We stayed with our mom here in the city, while our dad moved upstate.

Luke: oh i'm sorry, that must be difficult at times. At one point in my life i thought for sure my parents were going to get a divorce, they fought so often.

Riley: Yeah, my parents were never the happiest together. I think they stuck it out as long as they did only to make my sister and I happy.

Riley: So are you enrolled in a college, or university? I don't know what they call it back in Australia, haha.

Luke: yeah i'm currently taking classes at a university, I'm studying engineering.

Luke: yeahhh, i wish it was. My dad forced me to follow in his footsteps, basically. I wanted to study literature but apparently that won't get me a job.

A boy looking like this, wanting to study literature? I think my heart has officially melted.

Luke: I started writing song lyrics when i was about 14, and it kinda turned into writing my own stories and other pieces.

This boy was getting more interesting by the minutes. The punk look on his profile mislead me. I for sure thought the first 20 minutes of our conversation would consist of stories about parties and hilarious vodka dares.

But I have to keep reminding myself, I cannot get caught up in this boy.

Riley, it has only been an hour.
