Before I went home from
The hospital I put all my hair up into a beanie , I did not want to risk my brothers or Peter seeing my hair fall away bits by bits .
On the car ride home , everyone was silent . Not a word was shed .
When we stopped in front of my house I immediately hopped out of the car and ran to the lake . Tears shedding from my eyes , falling to the ground through every fast steps I took .
When I burst through the bushes , I looked toward the tree to see Peter . He stood up , WENDY !
When he said that I ran towards him attacking him with a hug my tears pouring into his shirt .
Wendy , what's wrong ?
Nothing , Peter I'm just really happy to see you .
Where have you been ?
My father took us to a hotel for my moms birthday .
I had to lie to Peter , he would be devastated if he found out I had only a few months left to live .
I remember when I was sleeping in the hospital I had a dream or a vision to the moment that Peter talked about when we met as kids , or me as a kid but Peter still looks the same , I then realized Peter has been my best friend all these years .

How old are you , truly ?!
I'm suppose to be 40 . But I haven't grown up , so I'm stuck at the age 17 . But if I stay here more I will be turning 18 . Also 41 .

Peter , IM sorry that I left you .
Don't worry Wendy were with each other now . He grabbed my hand and I felt same .
That's also when I realized that I love him and I want to be with him , but sadly I can't , and I know I must tell him sooner or later that he will be visiting my grave .
