This chapter of My Public Journal is all about insecurities.
My insecurities. Girl insecurities. Guy insecurities. I'll start off with my insecurities.
My Insecurities: (Explain answer)
1. My body - I weight 150 pounds, I'm 25 pounds over-weight.
2. My breasts - I wear a D and DD. I need to get back to a C.
3. My legs - I wear an 9 or 11 in jeans.
4. My shirts - I wear a L or XL in shirts.
5. My stomach - It's so noticeable in my shirts, so I buy baggy shirts.
6. My ankles - No matter how much I work out, they're still fat.
7. My cheeks - They're so chubby and fat.
8. My chin - I have a slight double chin.
9. My face - I don't have small freckles, they're huge freckles.
10. Anything about myself - Everything is wrong about me.
Girl Insecurities:
1. Not doing enough for the guy she wants.
2. Her body.
3. Her personality.
4. Any characteristics about herself.
5. Acting wrong in front of someone.
6. Caring about what everybody thinks.
7. Not fitting in.
8. Being fat.
9. Not having breasts.
10. Body weight.
Guys Insecurities-
1. Usually, their hair.
2. Sometimes, their face.
3. Not many teen boys are over-weight, but some are. They want to be skinny and fit like the rest of their boy peers.
4. Being rejected.
5. Doing something wrong for the one they love.
6. Having his girl friend hug another guy right in front of him. <--- NEVER DO THAT GIRLS.
7. Having to be pushed into a new personality that a girl makes him have.
* I didn't do these on the other ones, but here are some truths about men. *
1. Men would rather not be loved at all than feel inadequate and disrespected.
2. Men often response with anger when they feel disrespected.
3. Men do have insecurities too.
4. Men are conquerors and providers.
5. Men enjoy romance, but are not completely sure how to be.
6. Men do care about their partner's appearance.
7. Men want their partner to know how much they love them.
These truths about men were from: http://maryd.hubpages.com/hub/What_Women_Need_to_Know_About_Men
* I did not write the truths. I just wrote the insecurities. *
Society's Problems:
1. They make us think we all have to be the same.
2. They give you an ideal picture of how you're supposed to be.
3. YOU HAVE TO BE SKINNY.
4. You have to do the same as celebrities, actors, musicians, etc.
5. You have to do everything JUSTIN BIEBER does.
6. You should have this and that.
7. You should have this much money.
8. You need to look like this, if not, you're unattractive.
9. If you look like this, then you need to die.
10. You need plastic surgery if you look like this.
^ All that up there is wrong. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE LIKE THEM. Many people want to lose weight, why? Because they seem to think skinnier people get more attention. But in my perspective, they do. I am over-weight and I do not have as many friends as skinny people in my school. If you wear black, who cares? You don't have to be like those super models. Do you, be you, keep doing you. Don't change for anybody. Society sucks. It's hard to feel accepted, but we eventually get over it. In 10 years, no one is going to remember how your lip stick looked on the first day of school. This chapter of my public journal is all about insecurities. I was being honest from my point of view.
