Prologue

As she wrapped her tiny arms around his waist a loud growl came from a bush that rustled, she watched frightened as a dark grey wolf came out looking like he was going to kill the male she was with "K-kaleb!" she screamed gaining his attention right away, "Jace.. leave" the wolf snarled lowly and deadly scaring the petite female "I'm her brother! back off before you hurt her" that made the wolf stop and whimper "go now Jace..." obeying his orders, Jace ran back in the direction. 14 year old Katie watched the wolf run, admiring the way his fur glistened in the moonlight as he ran.. "Jace.." she whispered making him slow down somewhat however she turned her head away, towards the direction of her older brother, Kyle. "Jace! that was Jace?!" she exclaimed once theur conversation sinked in her head, her brother watched her scared of her reaction "Kyle when were you going to tell me we were Lycans...?" her voice light and soft, the question caught her brother my surprise... "uhm what?" He questioned thinking he was imagining the question himself but she spoke loud and clear "when were you going tell me we were Lycans?" she watched as her brother paled in surprise and shock but his face went to it's normal colour once he gained composure "uh when you shifted yourself..." she snorted "I shifted when I was 3 dear brother" he went wide eyed finally noticing her changed features "why didnt you tell ME?!" it was his turn to shout, she rolled her golden eyes at his behaviour and shifted easily into her wgite wolf "and I can talk in both forms too" now that made her brother yelp and stand back in surprise, of course his little sister had the rarest coloured wolf AND could talk in both forms... "you're the princess.... the missing princess" he whispered ever so softly as he petted his baby sister. oh the happy news the King and Queen will recieve... :)
