Date Night
Hunter and I both got ready. I didn't have a dress of my own so I crossed the field...but only halfway, to Aunt Lorie's. I ignored everything about the house and raced through the house, pushing everything past me without even looking at it. I couldn't be torn apart by memories. Not tonight.
When arrived back at Hunters I was wearing black converse, a white t-shirt, and a black high-waisted short skirt. It was simple. My hair was in a messy bun and I wore lipgloss...that's it. Hunter had on a tight black t-shirt and blue jeans with black vans. I guess we had the same, simple idea.
"So," I started, "What're we doing tonight?"
"Well, that would ruin the surprise now wouldn't it?" He asked with a smirk. "It would," I sighed, "but, it would, satisfy my own curiosity, now wouldn't it?" I asked with a smile tugging on my lips. Hunter just smiled and grabbed my hand while pulling me out of the house. I gladly followed without his encouragement of pulling me.
We ran together along the sidewalk and danced in the street lights. We ran in front of moving cars and spun around stop lights. We smiled and laughed and teased each other. I moved close to his lips and then ran away and an exhilarated Hunter followed quickly after.

I woke up alone. I fumbled through the sheets to make sure that Hunter wasn't buried in them. When I was convinced that he wasn't, I stretched out, yawned, and got out of bed. I went to the bathroom and put on an old tank top and some running sweats. I laced up my tennis shoes after putting on some thin socks. I wasn't going running...just getting into some comfortable clothes for the day. I snuck out the back door without Hunter noticing. He was sitting on the couch watching T.V. and eating something. I couldn't tell exactly what he was eating but it looked good!
I breathed in the fresh air. It was early in the morning and the sun was about to rise. I raced over to a tree, the same tree that I showed Hunter a while ago, and watched the sun rise.
I haven't been in this tree since I watched the sunrise with Hunter. I thought about everything that had happened. Aunt Lorie died. I found my moms note. Hunter and I started dating. Well, notes. My moms notes. That reminded me that I still hadn't read the other one yet. I leaned against the trunk of the tree and yawned again. I could feel my throat drying up and my eyes burned. My stomach twisted itself as I tried to hold back the quickly welling tears in my eyes. Finally, I gave up and let a few years spill before releasing all of the rest. I cried and I cried hard. I hadn't seen Mouse or Kitten in three days, neither had I fed the barn animals in a day. The chickens always had extra food just incase and the sheep, goats, and cows can feast in the grass so I wasn't to worried. I looked off past the horizon to see nothing but a soft, pink sky. I don't know what exactly I was thinking last night, all I know is that I was pretty happy for the first time in a long time.

Romantik'"What are you doing here?!" I scolded. "What are you doing here?!" Hunter said. "You didn't answer my question!" I said to him. He looked at me and I knew what was coming next. He suddenly turned from furious to comforting. "What's is this place?"...
