Chapter 4- A new home

(Y/N) pov
I stared blankly at the little boy "hahaha i really like you to malechi". I rub his head. He looks a bit flustered and says "no i mean LIKE like you, also known as love". I stood in shock unable to move malechi liked me the whole time even before he died?! "Malechi i... dont know what to say".  Im to shocked to move. "You don't have to say anything (Y/N) i just really wanted to tell you before i died and I finally did." I was still to shocked to move. "Malechi look I can't really accept your feelings but i can make an exception for you..."
He looked at me with happiness. I sigh "i will stay at Phoenix drop for the time being" he looked so happy I could almost his eyes shining with happiness. "Thank you so much (Y/N)" I forced a smile for him "you are welcome malechi"

(Y/N) pov
I can't believe im doing this. I thought to myself i was walking back to Phoenix drop to ask lord aphmau for a home. As me and malechi approached the gates malechi left and went under a tiny tunnel. cute thought to my self. As I entered the gates i was greeted by laurence that smiled at me. "Hey you came back" he started "yea so what?" I answered back. "Nothing its just that I didn't expect you to come back" he replied. "Well you expected wrong now i have to go somewhere if you don't mind". I ended the conversation and went to aphmau's house.

Aphmau pov
I was walking around talking with garroth about a new guarding system and what to do now that michi and sasha broke free (she doesn't know that you let them free... Yet) then brian came running to me "lord aphmau you have a visitor" i gave him a 'who is it look' then asked "are they at the gates?" brian replys "no they are at your house" i quickly go to my house and see (T/N) sitting on the floor with malechi... Playing? I speak up "you wanted to speak with me?" She looks up at me and stands up "yes i wanted to speak with you" I motion her to continue "i want a place to live in your village, also i will take that offer you gave me" i see malechi a bit surprised by what she said. I smile joyfully and say "of course you can have a home in my village do you want one already made of do you want me to get people to build it for you?" I ask "i can build it myself, where can i get materials to build it?" I motion downstairs in the basement. She left and malechi followed after her. I wonder what is up with those two

(Y/N) pov
I go downstairs i see a bunch of chests filled with materials to make houses and a... Shadow knight armor? I did sensed laurence being a shadow knight along with vylad but who's shadow knight armor is that? "Its laurence's." I turn around to see malechi. "How do you know?" I asked "mom told me" he replied. I shrugged it off seeing that it wasn't any of my business. I went to the chest and got some materials. I then left the house along with malechi because he asked to come with me, and seeing we haven't see each other in over 100 years i said yes. He spoke up "why did you take the offer (Y-" i cut him off "dont say my actual name malechi" he looked down "im sorry" i then said "its ok just don't say my actual name just call me (T/N)" he smiles at me "ok!" He says happily. I smile gently. I walk to an opening that was perfect to build a house. Out of no where garroth came out along with laurence and dante. I looked at them and said "what are you doing here?" Garroth then said "lord aphmau asked us to build a house for you" I thought I told aphmau that I didn't needed help to build a house i then say "I don't need help" laurence then says "we can't let a delicate girl do lifting" now that crossed the line i drop the stuff i was carrying and then say "don't you dare call me delicate you shadow knight!" I guess that sent him over the edge "don't remind me that im a shadow knight!" I grit my teeth and then say "just go, it's obvious that I don't need YOUR help" they look taken back and laurence has a apologetic look on his face. They then leave leaving me with malechi he spoke up "don't you think that was a bit harsh?" I then take a deep breath and say "i don't like being called delicate, it brings to much bad memories..." he then apologizes and says "do you mind um telling me the story?" I stay there for a bit. I then get out the materials and start building the house. As im building the house i say "i will once im done with the house, don't worry im a fast worker" he nods and watches me build the house. I start with the base making a house similar to aphmau but different, its more of a tree house than a house. I added a bit of decorations by putting vines and natrual flowers. It looked somewhat run-down but its just the way i like it i added some home-like supplies like an oven, a table, chairs, stuff like that along with stuff for a bedroom. Then in 30 minutes or so i call malechi in and say "so you wanted to hear the story right?" Malechi nods. I lean on the wall that i made very sturdy, and was about to open my mouth until a knock on my door came up.
