Chapter 11-Encounter

(Y/N)'s pov
Aaron was still in my house but he couldn't sleep, Neither could I. All that sugar was keeping us wide awake and it was annoying, it was already 3 in the morning and we are still awake. "Hey (T/N)?" Aaron called out, I decided not to speak. "I know you're awake, its best to answer." He is really annoying. I heard nothing reply back so I can only guess that they are asleep. "What?" I said with annoyance laced in my words.  I was laying on my bed facing away from Aaron while he was sitting on a chair, I offered him the couch before but he didn't want to accept it. "He doesn't want to *yawn* leave you." That was Angel. So you were awake!! I said in my mind. Angel yawns again. "Nope, I just woke up." I felt weird and sticky from just laying there for like 6 hours straight. "I was just wondering if you couldn't sleep either." Aaron stated. Yea, the voice in my head was the one who baked that cake, believe that... I started ranting in my head. "I didn't make the cake, the voice inside did..." At this point I didn't care. He just looks confused and shrugs it off. I was tired of this silence and stood up from bed. "Where are you going?" Asked Aaron with concern laced in his voice. "Out" and I left with just that.
Outside was really nice, the air was cool against my skin, and nothing to bother me. *pound* "gah!" I fell and held my head. Something in my head throbbed and I couldn't help but yell. "Aaaarrrgggh" my voice came out demonic. I felt something stretching on my back. I weakly looked back seeing my spine rising through the skin. Horns started to grow on my head and my vision became red. I could see heat, and there was a heat source right in front of me. A tall figure, wearing a suit I believe. He hugged me and I could sense its warmth against my body. As if on cue, I hugged back, and they touched my necklace making it glow. They looked up, over me and vanished while I transformed back. "Who's there?!" I voice I remember said behind me. "Lau...rence?" He looked at me. "(T/N)...." He walked up to me and helped me up. I thank him and start to walk away from him but fail and collapse to the floor. Shit! This isn't like me. He walks to me and helps me up again, surprisingly, I cling on to him. My back still hurt from my spine popping out. I grit my teeth and held on tightly, we start walking to a bench nearby. Once we sit down, he speaks up. "What happened?" I hesitated, either he wouldn't believe me, or I didn't want to tell him. "Nothing, just sprained my ankle." He believed me. "If that's the case, let me see." He crouches in front of me and I stop him. "Its fine, I'm okay." I guess he believed my lie a little too much than I expected. "But if it's sprained I should look-" I cut him off. "I said i'm fine!" I said a bit too loud, he just nods. I stand up trying to walk it off, but the pain in my back is unbearable. I collapse again and groan in pain. Knowing I wouldn't be able to walk anyways, I sprain my ankle on purpose to make it believable that i'm injured on my ankle. Laurence sighs and walks up to me. I feel embarrassed that I need help from a shadow knight. I'm a higher rank than him!
I silently thank him and he carries me to his house. Once inside, he sets me down on a chair and inspects my foot. "Hmm not a big injury but still needs treatment, i'll just put bandages around it." He does as he says, I just watch him do his work. I noticed his hair and how smooth it looks. So silky and soft, Laurence stands back up but i'm still looking at him. He smirks, "Hey, I know i'm hot but it's embarrassing that you're staring." He playfully covers his face as if he is shy. I look away blushing lightly. He laughs. "Its ok, I don't mind you staring.~" He says in a flirting tone. "You think very highly of yourself..." I say back, and he answers back. "Then why were you staring?" He grins. I shake my head saying I don't want to answer. He laughs and asks if I wanted water, I don't respond but he gives me a glass anyways. "Um I know we just met a while back but, I... feel attracted to you." I sit there slightly gripping the glass. "I... think I should be heading home now." I stand up and Laurence reacts pretty quickly. "W-wait! I didn't mean for you to leave." I look back at him and make my eyes slightly glow but enough so that he can see them. In his point of view, it showed blood lust eyes, eyes that can paralyze you if you stared deep enough into them. He took a step back, allowing me to leave. As I step out side (P/N) comes out of the shadows. "You need to be careful out there, did someone see you?" (P/N) shakes their head no. Its (P/N) responsibility to check the perimeter and see if there is anything strange around here. "What did you find?" They start running/flying/slithering the direction to the gate. I follow after them, after a while, they get hard to see so I climb the nearest tree and start jumping. They get back in view but they stop on top of a small tower. It looks very familiar, maybe to send a signal to someone, I get close close enough to sense magik emitting from it. Its faint but its still there. (P/N) motions me inside the tower where I see carvings on the floor. They go to the center and stay there, I assume they want me to stand there. I walk up slowly and cautiously, I don't know what lurks here. I pick up my pace and reach the center, nothing happens. Is it suppose to do something? Angel was awake. "I believe so, maybe you have to do something to trigger it?" I take her suggestion and try doing something. I first stomped my foot, I then jump, I try touching the carvings. Nothing works, "uhh, what are you doing?" I heard Alex say. "(P/N) her pet, found this tower that could send a signal to someone, she thinks it looks familiar." I sit down and try clearing my mind from what is happening. "Hate to disturb you, but the tower is glowing (F/C). Looks mesmerizing." I open my eyes and see black, white, and (F/C). Then a huge amount of energy is takes from me. I gasp, my back was already sore and my ankle stings, the energy taken from me made me very weak and vulnerable. Then the magik energy I feel leaves and is replaced with a man. Well... a glich. "Hello, (Y/N)." I nod weakly. "Hey uncle brian."
