I grab my keys and my phone . I look at the time noticing that it's Barely 7:30pm . I won't be gone long I'll be back soon I need to go get something things .
I start walking downstairs but I get stopped by Sammy . " chill I'm going out to get somethings I'll be back soon ". I said to him he moved over to let me leave before saying " call me if anything happens ". I just nod and started walking .
I lived in a nice neighborhood.. At least that's what I thought . Once I made it to target I walk over to the makeup section I start picking out mascara , Nyx Matt lipsticks , powder , eye liner . I walk over to the Cd section to get some new CDs . I pick out the Blue Neighbors Cd , The Sound Good Feels Good Cd , I walk to the self checkout because I don't interact with human beans .
I finish paying I grab my bags and make my way outside when I was walking down a alley I felt someone following I turn around to see nothing I turn around only to be pushed against the wall . I yell in pain " shut up " he hissed the voice sound very familiar.
He pulled down his hoodie " missed me babe " he smirked . I didn't know what he could do to me so I stayed quiet.. Brent didn't act like this when I saw him a couple of days ago ..
I was then pushed to the grown . " this is for leaving me " he hissed . He starts kicking me in the stomach . " You left me you deserve to feel pain ". He spat at me
" Your so worthless you can't even defend yourself ". He picked me up and I winced in pain I felt a sharp pain on my check . Brent started slapping me in the face ... And when he moved away from me I thought he was done ... But I was wrong ... His fist collided with my cheek .. And I knew that was going to leave a mark . I held my stomach and my cheek At the same time .
I look up and Brent is slowly walking away ... " Is that all you got ". I spat Brent stops walking and turn around . " What did you just say " he hissed ,"are you going to kill me because you beat the living shit out of me already so might as well kill me ". I spat getting up I walk close to Brent .
" Your pathetic in all honesty Brent ". I spat I wasn't done with him he might have hurt me But he's not breaking me again . "Hurt Me all you want kill me if you have too just to be happy with yourself ". I hissed " I thought you would have moved on in the matter of a year but I guess I was wrong ". I spat i was pissed off .
He just looked at me his hands turning white from how angry he was . He raised his fist towards my face . He expected me to be afraid but not anymore I stood there and felt nothing . All I see is Brent running away I let out sigh . Thank god this is over .
No one was there to save me . I saved myself I'm on my own I'm not afraid Anymore.
I picked up my bag and started walking home . Once I put the key in and turned the nob I was face to face with a angry Sammy . His face Softens when he sees me .
" Aubrey what the fuck happened ". Sammy said grabbing my bags from my hand and putting them in the living room .
I walk to the kitchen to sit down . I'm in so much pain .
" Brent did this but don't worry I'll be fine ". I gave Sammy a weak smile .
