Later that day
( Shawn's pov )

I park my car in outside of her house I see the poster and the flowers still outside . I pick them up and I rung the door bell and when it opens a familiar face comes to the door .

I put the poster and the flowers down to hug Sammy we weren't good friends but we knew each other . " omg I haven't seen you in a while how are you doing "? I said while giving him a bro hug . " I'm doing fine but Aubrey isn't man .. You broke her ". He said pulling away from the hug . " we basically broke each other ". I said quietly

He moves to the side so I can go inside . "Aubrey is upstairs she's not in the best conditions so don't be so hard on her something happened the other day and she really needs to rest but go talk to her she needs to cheer up a little ". He sighed

I just nod and head upstairs but before I can make it to the last step I'm greeted by Aubrey's mother . " Hello Ms. Mitchell how are you "? I said looking at her with a handful of clothes . I gently grab them from her because it looked like she needed help . She sighs " I'm good Shawn thanks for asking ". She leads me into the Aubrey's room so I can put down her clothes and there on Aubrey's bed was the Same girl that left last year ... She was bruised and broken . " thank you Shawn " Aubrey's mom said . I just nod and she leaves

I walk over and sit down on her bed I look at her face . Who would hurt such a beautiful girl .. She moves a little and I notice she's waking up .

" Shawn what are you doing here "? She said while rubbing her eyes . " I'm here to apologize... For everything I'm sorry that I went off on you just because you had another date to prom it was my only opportunity to have you close and to have you in my arms ". I said while looking at her even though her face was bruised she was still the most beautiful girl that I've ever laid my eyes on .

" Shawn it's my fault It's just I saw you with a girl outside of the mall a couple of days ago and I got jealous because I like you Shawn and it hurts to see that you might not like me the same way it hurts to know that one day you will find someone that's 10000x times more prettier then me , someone that will love you more then I do ". She said

I just pulled her close " only know you love her when you let her go ". I sang to her

" hey it's okay don't cry beautiful ". I said wiping away her tears I give her a kiss on the cheek . " Shawn will you do me the honor of being my prom date "? She said once I look down at her and she looking up at me .

I smiled and brought her close to kiss her . "I would love to go with you Aubrey Mitchell ". I smiled down at her right now in this moment I didn't care about anything else but making her happy and taking care of her heart .
