Hey it's Shawn I need to talk to you come outside ' he said

I walk over to my window to see a Shawn Mendes with his back towards me . I put on my jean jacket and walked outside .

" What is it Shawn "'. I said not in the mood to talk to him . " Okay Aubrey when we were little we promise we would be each other's  prom dates do you remember "?

*Flashback * Shawn's Pov) 

Fetus time .

" Hey Aubrey ". I said while turning around to face her . " Yes Shawn " ? I said looking at Shawn and his new braces . " when we grow up do you think we will be each other's prom date "? I said while looking down at her  . I was 5'6 she was 5'0 at the time . " hmm I mean I would Love to go to prom with you but are your dancing skills on point ". She said look over at me . I starts moving my hips around trying to dance .

Aubrey just started laughing at how a horrible dancer I was . " okay okay if I promise you I will go to prom with you will you stop dancing "? Aubrey said through tears . " yes " he said while smiling at me . She held up her pinky and I held up mine .

" Promise ". I said while looking at her beautiful face green eyes .

" I promise Mendes ". She said while looking at me .

The good old days ....

Flashback over

Shawn standing outside with a poster that has a photo of me and Shawn at our 5th grade and 8th grade dance ... We looked so cute Shawn with his cute braces and his tux . Puberty hit him beautifully I mean he was cute before but now he's hoottttt .

I look at the poster and it has ' promise '  on it i was going to cry ... I missed this ... I missed us .

" Aww baby come here ". Shawn said while putting the poster and the flowers down on the floor and pulling me close for a hug . ( this would be so cute ) i already have a prom date ... I feel Awful I forgot about I put promise ... I didn't  notice I was crying until I feel Shawn pull away . I feel his huge hand come towards my face to wipe away my tears .

" s-Shawn I already have a date ". I said my voice cracking at the end .

" w-what "!? Shawn said angry he pushes me away from him .

" I can't believe you , you promised ". He spat at me .

" s-Shawn I forgot okay ... I've had so much on my min-". You now what forget this I thought your would remember our promise .. Did you forget everything we have ever been through together ... You know what I'm done .. Done with getting hurt ... ". He said his voice cracking . ( my poor baby )

I'm all honesty I would leave Sammy to go with Shawn to prom but then I will be a awful person ...

" bye Aubrey ". He left the poster with the flowers on my porch and starts walking back to his jeep with his head down . Once I hear him slam the door to his car and starts driving away I burst into tear ..

This is why I left ... I hurt everyone ... Once this is all over I'm leaving permanently .

I walk inside to see Sammy with him arms out ready to give me a hug .

" S-S-Sammy I lost him again ". I said through sobs . All i feel is his grip on me get stronger . It will be okay Aubrey ". He said while rubbing my back I push him away . " don't say that you can't predict that everything is going to be okay it's bullshit ... I lost him Sammy ... And I hurt him again ". I ran into my room and locked the door ..
