Bring Me To Life

Chapter XIX || Supernova

“I’m here to save your asses now.” He laughs and his sword gets bigger and turns crystal. It has an abnormal light blue light glowing from it. He makes a clean cut in the glass and twists it to the side. It shatters almost instantly while Adam shields me.

“Thanks Crucivas.” He stabs it into Jace’s room and it explodes, now Jace is going to get more injuries, great. Ivy limps over to us with her arm around the one and only, Ryder. I lift up Jace with the help of Adam.

“Is your weakness, me?” I giggle.

“It’s watching you get hurt,” he replies.

“That’s so cheesy.” I laugh and heal Jace from all the cuts on his body. Crucivas changes his sword for Yuki’s lit up room, the sword is now a transparent white. He slashes the glass and a raging wind blows through while the glass breaks. The fire is out and Yuki is still crouched in the corner of the room, she falls head first on the ground. Crucivas lifts her up and brings her to us. He sets her gently on the ground.

“I’ll be back when I want to.” The dark blue portal reappears and he’s already gone inside it.

Yuki isn’t dead or anything but she’s in no condition to even move.  Ivy is too weak to fight and Jace has just woken up.

“Ryder. Ryder Shadow,” Ryder introduces.

“Autumn Scarlet, nice to meet you.” He smiles.

“Maybe you should heal Yuki too, in case we encounter Phantom again,” Adam says, he makes eye contact with Ryder. “I’m Adam.”

I kneel next to Yuki and her body starts absorbing the water left on the ground. Her eyes open and she stands up.

“I’m okay!” She exclaims happily. “Who are you? I’m Yuki.”

“He’s Ryder, Ivy’s friend.” I whisper to her.

“Oh, hi there!” She waves. We descend into the dark corridor.

We take a few turns here and there but everything is like a labyrinth, even if search for a way out we could never find it.

“Shouldn’t you be like locked up somewhere?” I question Ryder.

“I was. They didn’t know I can walk through things and they weren’t watching me like a hawk when you were captured. I never found the way out though.” 

“Willow’s here.” Ivy gasps. Everyone looks at her, confused. “I can feel her emotions, she’s upset.” We all start bolting down the next long corridor.

“I’ll get you out of there, I promise.” I hear Willow sobbing. 

“This way,” Ivy says and turns right. All this turning is making me dizzy. We see the same glass room but with Skylar and Noah trapped inside it. I glance over at the two guys with werewolf bites on their necks. The room suddenly lights up with electricity. I squeeze my eyes shut and feel Adam hold my head to his chest. I hear tormenting scream from Skylar and Noah as they try to dodge the shocks.

“Pl-please save them,” Willow stammers. The electricity stops and smoke rises from their bodies. 

“How did you get out?” I look at Willow.

“I froze time fast enough, to save myself then I knocked out those guards.” She’s struggling to talk. I hear a whirring sound and a light beam from what it looks like, a gun. Ryder jumps in and holds his hands up. A blue translucent force field shoots out of Ryder’s hands and deflects the bolt from hitting Noah and Skylar. He keeps the force field up with one hand while using the other to create a bubble.
