Chapter 3 - Kassie

~Kassie's POV~

"Have fun." Jongup said to Monica and me.
"You have everything?" Yongguk asked.
"Yeah we have everything. We doubled checked, or at least I did."
"Only Monica would double check."
"At least I won't be missing anything."
"Hey, when you're missing something, that's your fault for not double checking."
"Then I'll just take yours."

Jongup laughed.
"Okay, have fun, don't get lost."
"We're on a boat. How would we get lost?" Monica asked.
"You never know, now go."
"Why are you trying to make us leave so early? We have, like, a few minutes left," I said.
"Hey look, it's Jenny!"
"What?"
Monica and I stepped out of the car to look for Jenny.
Jongup closed the door and told Yongguk to drive.
"The girls have to get their stuff."
Yongguk opened the trunk. Monica and I got our luggage, closed the trunk and the car took off.

"Okay where's the Jenny?" Monica asked excitedly.
"She's talking to Daehyun and Zelo."

"Flight 209 to Hawaii Cruises, Terminal 8, is now boarding," The intercom announced.
"Come on, Jen, we gotta go." I said.

We ran to our gate and we gave our tickets to the attendant.

On the plane

Seat 18A, 2 rows behind Jenny.
"Wait, why are we 2 rows behind Jenny?" Monica said.
"I have no idea, oh yay, I got window seat."
"Why do you get window seat?"
"Cause I'm awesome." Sticking my tongue out at Monica

There was two guys who sat in front of us and one got annoyed by the other one so he decided to switch with Monica.

"Hi, can I switch with you my friend here is annoying me, and I think he likes you."
"Is it a window seat?"
"Yeah"
"Okay"
"Hello I'm Kris."
"Siyeon but I prefer Kassie."
"I'm sorry, have we met before? I feel like I've seen you somewhere."
"Yes, we actually have."
"When?"
"Probably in your dreams cause I would've remembered if I met you before."
"Wow."
"Hey don't hate the girl, you don't even know me."
"Okay. So where are you going when you get to Hawaii?"
"Well I'm going to a hotel for a couple of days with my friends,after that we're going on a cruise. How about you where are you going?"
"I actually don't know my friend Baekhyun just told me to pack."
"Is that the guy who was annoying you?"
"No that was Kai."
"Okay."

After the instructions video on plane safety, the plane finally took off. The light flashed and we could use our electronics. I pulled out my iPod5 from my pocket and started listening to music.

"Where's my headphones?" Thinking back where I put them, "Dang, I left them at home."
"Haha, that's what you get for not double checking!"
"Shut-up Monica." Kicking the seat in front of me.
"You can borrow mine." Kris said handing me his headphones.
"Thanks." I said as I smiled.
"Your welcome."
"Someone likes you, Kris."
"Stop eavesdropping Monica! You don't even know if I do!"
"Do you actually like me?"
"As a friend, we probably might not even meet after this plane ride."
"You never know. You just said might, so we might meet each other again." Kris smiled.
I smiled back.
"Hey, so umm, who are you meeting at Hawaii?"
"Someone."
"Boyfriend?"
"I don't have one."
"Liar."
"No I'm not!"
"Well do you like someone?"
"Why are you asking about my love life?"
"Well I just wanted to know."
"To answer your question I don't like anyone yet."
"Funny how you said yet."
"What it's true we fall in love eventually."
"We?"
"When I say we I mean humans."
"What if your not human."
"Well everyone and every animal will fall in love, I guess even aliens do."
"Yeah."
"Since you asked, do you like anyone?"
"Umm yeah, I guess."
"Who is it?"
"You don't even know her."
"We'll doesn't hurt to ask?"
"Actually you do know her. Cause you're the one I'm falling for I don't know how or why." He mumbled in a whisper.
"What?"
"Nothing."
"Okay?"

I looked at Kris to see what else he was going to say, cause I'm not very good with conversations. Kris opened his mouth but nothing came out.
"Sooo?"
"So what?" Kris said. "Just to let you know I'm bad at conversations especially when I don't know the person as much."
"Same."
"I was thinking back to the whole I'll meet you again conversation and there's a way we can see each other cause we both live in Canada."
"So we can meet up someday or sometime."
"Yeah, but, when?"
"I don't know. Maybe we'll have to plan."
"You realize we have no way to contact each other."
"Yeah I know."
"Okay."

I put the headphones on.
Even with the headphones on I can hear Kris say something to himself, but I decided not to pay attention. As I was about to sleep I heard Kris say my name, I lowered the volume.
"Kassie is a good person should I ask for her number? But I don't know her as much."
Does Kris like me? Should I ask him? Maybe not, it'll be weird I thought.

I made the volume louder and fell asleep. Not knowing I rested my head on Kris's shoulder.
