HIS EYES were shut tight but a small smile was drawn on his lips as Dean kept thinking about how everything had turned from not so good to amazing in the last few days.
Joy and him had been conversing through parchment almost everyday, Ron didn't seem to be so mad at him anymore, school wasn't as boring and all of his friends now seemed happy considering everything that was going on in the wizarding world.
"Still thinking about this girl?" Seamus asked.
"Hm? What?"
Seamus laughed, shaking his head, "Oh god, you're really infatuated with her, aren't you?"
"What?! No! I don't even know who she is." Dean answered, trying not to blush.
"Oh come on! You keep all her letters, well if that's a girl," he said, laughing. "And you smile like an idiot everytime you receive one. You like her."
"Well, I don't know if I like her, but I like who she seems to be."
"Then, you like her."
. . .
"Annabel, we are going! Come on!" Ginny shouted from the common room.
The girls had planned to go drink a butterbeer and chit chat —something they had been doing for quite a while now. It was a nice way to get away from homework, from the boys and all the issues in general.
"I'm tired, I think I'm gonna pass today and take a nap instead." Annabel answered, "I'll see you all at dinner."
Ginny and Hermione shared a confused look but shrugged it off and left the Gryffindor's Tower. After all, Annabel seemed to be much better, so she could pass one of their girl hang if she didn't feel like coming.
However, instead of sleeping, Annabel spent her afternoon writing to Dan who was as ecstatic as her to write back.
