Jimin's POV
"Wait for me for a moment, Yoongi."
I didn't wait for Yoongi's response when I took Jungkook away without removing my arms from his waist. I tightened my grip around Jungkook. Afraid that if I let go, he might go back to Yoongi and show him a glimpse of the afterlife without hesitation.
While walking, I felt Jungkook's fingertips trailing on my back and he placed his hand on my shoulder. I cleared my throat - the sensation gave me goosebumps. I needed to act with nonchalance since he for sure wasn't in the mood for my resistances.
I led Jungkook toward the empty art room just a few steps away from the locker area. I noticed that Jungkook had been silent ever since I made that promise. A promise that will surely be broken. Gladly, when I closed the door behind us, I noticed that he seemed relaxed around me.
"Jungkook, I-I-I'm really sorry... The school officer just thought you were bullying me, that's why he d-did that. I hope you'll understand," I started with nervousness tainting my voice. I pursed my lips, realizing how ridiculous it was that I had to explain things to him when he even wasn't my friend, let alone my boyfriend.
It was dead silent, and his silence was bruising my hope that being a sacrificial lamb would result in something good for Yoongi.
"You told me I have a chance. I'll mark your words," he said in a serious note. My smile faded. It seemed like he didn't acknowledge my explanation. He didn't even show any kind of care about it.
I gulped out of nervousness. He was marking the words in his head and they weren't supposed to be said at all. I felt like my mind was about to explode as I didn't know how to take my words back without making him mad.
While he was sending those serious gazes at me without blinking, my mouth went speechless. I felt like his eyes were telling me that his words were the dead-end of no-turning-back.
"I-I'm s-sorry but-", I didn't get to finish my word when he suddenly leaned in and signalled me that he wanted a kiss.
In a fraction of a second, I moved away before he could shove his lips against mine. However, our lips brushed a little. And that was all it took to run a shiver through my disgusted body.
"I... I really need to go," I stuttered, out of breath. I wish he would free me already so I could wipe my lips clean of his substance.
                              "No."
I gulped thickly when all he gave was a dangerous rejection. Looking up to meet his eyes, I could still sense anger and hunger through his gaze. We may be in a very silent room, but I was currently dealing with a war of paranoia bombing so loud in my mind at that very instant.
My face crumpled in horror when he started putting his hands on my cheeks. He leaned in and I whimpered in so much tension. At a fast rate, I lifted my hand between us and took a step back.
"W-We can... do that tomorrow! It's just... I-I have a meeting now and I was... I was running late... Yeah, hehe... Uhh?" I was out of breath as I blabbered out a nonsensical excuse and let out a single nervous laugh. At this rate I wanted to punch myself so hard and knock the fool I was out of my head. Sighing, I felt so hopeless as I couldn't think of any escape plan.
I mentally screamed for help when a hint of hope in his smile danced on his mouth. His gloomy countenance started changing. From a deadly beast to a familiar Cockman again.
"You said that. I'll wait for tomorrow. Afternoon break-time," he said with a confident smirk. As there was nothing left to be said, he exited the room. Leaving me confused on my spot.
