I used to think that
I couldn't date someone that lives more than
15 minutes away
because I'm
lazy
and I thought that it'd be too
hard
to be together, especially when we don't go to the same school.
But then I met you, and it takes
thirty minutes by bus, then forty minutes by train, then forty minutes by car
or
one hour and three minutes by car
or
eleven hours and thirty minutes by foot
(but I know that we would walk that far to see each other and we would camp out along the way and I'm 120% sure that we would do that and not care because that's what we'd do to see each other)
to get to each others houses
and we only see each other once a week if we're lucky
and that really depends on if you can get to the station and that I can go out because I usually have a heap of assignments and stuff or my parents might say no.
But now I've learnt with you that it doesn't matter
how near
or
how far
away we live from one another, we will find a way to see each other
because that's what love is -
going that extra mile
and so that's why I go the extra mile with you.
