Chapter 14

While Mary was getting her ultrasound, Lizzy was getting her C.T for her head.

Then Lizzy fluttered her eyes open and looked around to Shane sitting in the chair next to her.

Shane leans forward and puts his hand on her head and said “ Hey little one, how are you feeling? You hit your head pretty hard.”

Lizzy out her hand where Shane’s was and groaned and shook her head and said “ Where is Mary and Gaby?”

Shane looked around and shrugged then said “ I know Gaby is at daycare but i don’t know where Mary is?”

Lizzy nodded and looked out the window then back at Shane and said “ What happened? Did i pass out or something?”

Shane nodded and looked down at his hands and said “ yes, you did faint, the reason you fainted is lack of food. You haven’t been eating, the tests showed you haven’t for 3 weeks. Why?”

Lizzy looked down and a tear rolled down her face, she sniffed and said “ I’m just not hungry that’s all”

Shane grabbed a tissue and gave it to her and said “ You’re crying, here take it.”

Then Lizzy took the tissue, Shane said “ How long?”

Lizzy was confused and said with a shaky voice “ W-what?”

Shane sighed and said “ How long haven’t you been eating?”

Lizzy looked down and cried and said “ Since I was 8 and now i’m 11, you do the math”

Shane put his hand on her head and said “ I’ll do you one better”

Lizzy smiled and nodded.

Now with Mary getting an ultrasound and looks on the screen and said “ OMG! I can’t believe it. I’m pregnant!”

Haley, Kelly, and Mary walked out of the room.

Mary looked and turned to them and said “ Okay, we just found out i’m pregnant…..again. So you have to promise me not to tell my husband before i do.”

They nodded and kept walking.

Then made their way to Lizzy’s room and Mary looked at Lizzy and she was asleep and walked beside her and looked at Shane and said “ So,she’s okay right?”

Shane nodded and said “ We ran tests it showed that she wasn’t eating, nothing was in her stomach then she told me the truth about her arms”

Mary was confused.
