One week later
When we got to the hospital wing, we called for Doctor Ansel. We waited for about thirty minutes, when two familiar faces came out of the doorway smiling. Marlee and Carter.
I see Marlee on a day to day basis, because she is one of my maids and all, but I've never even heard her mention going to the hospital. That's when it hit me.
Doctor Ansel was the baby doctor person(I know this sounds weird but I don't know what they're called!) I never did know what they were called.
"Marlee? Wha-what are you doing here?"I asked.
She ran up and grabbed my hands. "Ames... I'M PREGNANT!" She yelled. We were jumping up and down till I pulled her into a corner.
"Don't tell anybody, but...bu...but I am, too! And it's twins!"I said in a loud whisper. We both squealed.
"How far along are you," she prodded.
"I think like six weeks. I don't really know, but I'm starting to already get a bump!" I stretched down my shirt, to show her.
"No way! I'm seven weeks and I barely have a bump! You know I read in a booklet that twins are to start growing at about five weeks, but you're just six weeks and you look really big,"she shook her head," never mind don't listen to me. I have to go, but I'll talk to you later okay? And I won't tell anyone I promise." With that, her and Carter left.
(Again: I don't know a whole lot about being pregnant so bare with me)
"Mr and Mrs Schreve, the doctor will see you know," a polite nurse was standing in the doorway, holding a clipboard. I ruffled my too-tight shirt up, so I wouldn't give anything away and walked arm in arm with Maxon to the sonogram room.

"Maxon, Marlee said that twins start growing at five weeks but I'm six weeks and I'm already getting a really big bump. She is, like, two weeks further than me and has an itty bitty bump.
"I don't know, dear. Maybe they'll be really big babies!" He said joking around.
When we got to Doctor Ansel's office, I held my breath. Maxon knocked on the door first and we stood there awkwardly waiting. Just as Maxon was about to knock again Doctor Ansel opened the door and greeted us in.
"So I see you are fairing well, my Queen," he said more of a question than a statement.
"Yes. Yes I am." I replied in the most queenly way possible.
"But we do have a question, Doctor," Maxon said." You see I read a booklet and it said that twins usually start growing at about five weeks, but my wife is six weeks along, and already has a good sized bump. How is that?" The doctor had a very puzzled look on his face.
"I'm not really sure, but I'll take a look when we do the sonogram. So Mrs, have you been experiencing any morning sickness or anything of that sort?" I snorted and laughed. "Every. Single. Morning."
"Ahh. I see. We will get you some pills to help with that, but it won't totally make it go away." I sighed with relief, glad that puking up my dinner every morning would come to an end.
"Now," he clapped his hands together," let's go see your babies!"

He led us to a small room in the back, not the same one we went to last time.
"Now, let's see. What do we have here." He had already smeared the jelly on my stomach and started moving the stick thingy around my abdomen.
"Now I see why you are growing so fast, my Queen." He was pointing to the two bodies beginning to form now and I saw what looked like three heads.
"Wait. What? That can't be right I'm have twins not...not..." I trailed off counting again."One. Two. Three." I looked at Maxon and he was in shock.
"I...is there any way that we can actually see the twins. Like in 3D. I read about it in a booklet." Maxon said. He was slurring his word, he was shaking, too.
"No I'm afraid that we don't have that kind of equipment at the palace right now. I'm sorry but we can look at different angles on her to see if her majesty is correct."
The thought of having triplets scares the crap out of me. But as he does move around the stick I see three, tiny, forming, bodies.
