~Lexis P.O.V.~
~A Week Later~

Today was the day I've been waiting for.

Nelle was coming home with my precious baby girl!

Since it was just the boys and I at the house, literally everything went down. There were no rules, not that there was any to begin with, but it was so dope. I felt like I was 16 again and that was the greatest feeling especially since my birthday is coming up.

"Alright boys, we gotta get y'all to school" I yawned as I walked down the stairs.

"I thought we were skipping cause of Ivanna" Trey said with a confused look on his face

"I thought about it and nope. Y'all are goin to school. Now let's go" All 3 boys walked out to the car. Since DeShawn has his permit, I sat in the passengers side and let him drive this morning.

"Ease up on the gas" I said as I watched DeShawn.

"Like this?" He asked

"Yup, but keep your eyes on the road and-"

"Why can't I just try driving once" Trey whined

"Do you have your permit?" I asked as I looked back at him

"Uncle Varo doesn't." He smirked

"He's Varo, he doesn't need his. You're my kid and when you get that permit, the car is all yours. When I say car I mean Mom's car, not mine." I laughed as I watched his face full of content drain to annoyed disappointment.

"Alright, y'all be good and I'll be here to pick you up after school" I hopped out and dapped them before getting back in the drivers seat.

~20 Minutes Later~

"Knock Knock" I said as I walked into Nelle's room. She had to stay longer than usual because they were concerned about Ivanna's breathing.

"Hey you" Nelle smiled as she sat up in her bed

"Alright, you ready to go? Cause I miss you around and I wanna bring my new lil mama

"Yeah I am, shit, I miss being at home" She smiled as she peeled out of bed.

"Ima go sign your release papers and then we'll leave" She nodded her head and I walked out to the main desk

"Hey Lexis, how are you doing?" Bailey gave me a kiss on the cheek and a quick hug from over the front desk

"Hey Bailey, I'm excited. Can't wait to snuggled up with Nelle, how are you and the boys?" She handed me the clipboard and sat back down in her chair

"They're growing up so fast. I got a cavity because of all the ring pops Alvaro keeps giving me." She laughed

"Sucks you got a cavity but that's Varo for ya."

"No kidding. So you know how Leah had her baby right?" I rolled my eyes but nodded my head "well she came by for a paternity test." I stopped writing and looked up at her in shock

"Is it her fiancé's baby?"

"Nope. She sounded so disappointed on the phone. So she came down here demanding the results but we told her we didn't have em, they were at the lab. She wasn't happy so we had the cops come down and escort her out" Bailey laughed at the last sentence

"I ain't even surprised. That's a damn shame, it's sad cause now there's another baby in the world and it doesn't even get to grow up knowing who it's father is" I said as I shook my head. I handed the clipboard back to Bailey
