A Thug's True Love: Chapter 1

~Chanelle P.O.V.~
~7 Years Later~

These past 7 years have been pretty crazy. I bet you all are wondering what happened that night Arlie told me I was the reason his love never died. Well let me give you a flash back rather than just telling you.

*Flash Back*
~7 Years Ago~

"I know you and I have gone over our little weird and complicated relationship so many times. We have more feelings for each other than we should and when we were together, those were some of the best months of my life. I knew if we were together it would be such a perfect relationship. I will always love you regardless of anything so I just want you to know you are the reason why A Thug's Love Never Dies." He took a deep breath. I stood still and quiet letting that sink in.

"Oh my God; Arlie." I pulled him in for a hug. He just held me in a warm embrace.I couldn't believe this. I knew we liked each other and what not, that was obvious as fuck but I didn't know he truly loved me. I was caught between being the ride or die I was supposed to be for Lexis and being in pure happiness with Arlie.

I hated it.

"You don't need to say anything. I just wanted to tell you that. Just be good for Lexis and the kids." He gave me such a passionate kiss. This was a kiss that was driven by love. It was like nothing I had ever experienced before. That's the funny thing about love. You always experience new forms of it.

He tried to pull away but I wouldn't let him. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he tightened his grip around my waist. Everything that I had gone through just disappeared when I was in his arms and had his taste. He finally pulled away and just stared at me with his vibrant hazel eyes.

"Bye Chanelle." He let me go and walked off. I called after him but he just kept walking. I could feel my heart start to separate as he took each step away from me.

All I could do was just watch.

*End Of Flash Back*

That was the last time I saw Arlie to this day. I tried texting and calling him but I would get his voice mail or he wouldn't text me back. After about 2 years of trying to contact him I just gave up. I had an empty hole in my heart and it's still there.

Lexis and I still aren't together and haven't been since Arlie left. We are still really good friends for the kids. Leah would pop up every now and again and naturally like I expected he would go mess with her. I don't get mad about it because I knew he wouldn't change. He is still a great father regardless but he is nothing more to me than just a friend and father of our children.

Trey and DeShawn are now 13. It's too crazy to believe that. Just the other day they were still 6 running around through the barn with King right at their heels. Ty was 11 now and up till the age of 8 he never left my side for anything. It was so cute but I wanted him to be like Trey or DeShawn, leaving my side to go play with friends. We moved out of the little country area into the same hood as Varo. There were all kinds of kids there so everyone would go out front and play till the street lights came on.

Chewy up and moved out. I don't know if he was still with Renee but when he was living with us those two were inseparable. It was so cute cause he would take Renee out all the time or bring her to the house. She was considered as part of the family in my eyes.

I'll let Varo, Javier, J and all of them tell you what has been going on with them when you get to their parts. However, Trey would always ask me why Lexis and I weren't married or why Lexis would always go out while I stayed at home. That's exactly what he was about to do next.
