Near Death Experience

So, when i was 11, I almost died.

It was Sunday meaning my 'mother' would take me and whatever family or friends we had with us at the time, to go do something fun or whatever. Now some of you may be thinking "why is she going to church if she's a agnostic atheist???" well, my family is EXTREMELY religious and if any of them find out that im a Atheist then I'll most likely be disowned by them. so i kept it a secret. it continues to be my secret to this day

BUUTTT back to how i almost died. me, my lil brother, my middle brother, and my three cousins went to skyzone after church. Now, i was a daring lil mother fucker-still am- and i was challenged by my middle cousin, we'll call him Peter, to do a front flip into the foam pit FIVE times.

Now, this challenge wasnt so much of a challenge to me really. I made 4 out of the 5 flips. On my fifth flip i almost broke my back. i jumped without the right amount of speed for me to land on my back, so i landed on my knees and back went backwards because of force. I head and felt the crack.

It hurt so much that i couldnt move, i refused to because it hurt so much. I remember panic slowly settling in, I couldnt breath, it was like the air got thinner and thinner. The guy working the station at the time and noticed how i wasnt moving.

He rushed over and asked if i was okay. I forced myself to look at him and say i was fine. Why i didnt say my back hurts like hell? Its because i couldnt trouble my mother, especially saying we were tight-ish on money. i rushed out of the foam pit while fighting back my tears of pain. Peter asked if I was okay and i gave him the same answer I gave the worker, Im fine.

I sat out the rest of the time we were there, saying i was not feeling well. My back still hurts to this day and i never got any treatments for it. The pain is bearable i just have to take pain killers sometimes because i tend to overwork my back.

for Some of you that are un educated with how the human body works (which is totally fine) may be confused as to why breaking my back would kill me. so, i will teach you. Your spine does not only hold up your back, but it also is where your main nervous system is, now if you break your back, you injur your nervous system, therefore messing your brain, therefore causing your brain to mess with your heart, therefore killing you. IDK if u got this go google it or some shiz.

sooooo, yeah, thats how i almost died.

stay lovely
