Chapter 15

Brett's POV:

I arrived at the coffee shop 15 minutes early so I could get a table. I had a table and my coffee when Taylor walked in. I was a little surprised when Ed walked in with her. They got coffee then headed my way. Ed pulled up a chair as if he was invited. It made me a little annoyed. But as long as Taylor wanted him here, then he had to stay. I was trying to win her back after all. "Well, hi." She said awkwardly. "Hey," I replied. "Ok, I can't take it any longer. I saw a guy that looked exactly like you outside the bar last night. He was kissing another girl. She has brown hair and the guy looked at me and looked surprised. I was wondering if that was you. I'm pretty positive it was though so don't lie," she spit out sort of fast.

Taylor's POV:

I had just confronted Brett about last night. He was being very quite and looking down. "It was you," I whispered. "Taylor, look," he started to say. "We are through." I said with my voice raised. "Taylor please," "NO. GET AWAY FROM ME. I never want you talking to me again you lying jerk!" I screamed at him. I grabbed Ed's hands and ran out. We got to my car and I broke down crying. "Look Taylor, I'll drive." Ed says getting me in the passenger seat. "Thank you so much Ed," I replied. With that we drove away from that relationship with Brett.

Brett's POV:

Taylor's gone. She ran out with Ed. We are officially through. I felt bad but knew I could date Brittney without worrying about Taylor. It would be nice to be just a one guy man. Before I went on the RED tour, I dated Brittney. Taylor wasn't planned. I just fell in love. Then it just got a little awkward to me when we got back so I got back with Brittney, never thinking about hurting Taylor. And now I have. I went home in disappointment.

Taylor's POV:

When we got home I went inside. Ed said he was going to go get something so I went and started petting Meredith. I heard the door open and Ed come in with tubs of ice cream and his guitar. We started playing Everything Has Changed when he said something that surprised me. "Look Taylor. I know you just went through a breakup but, I love you. I never want to see another person hurt you again. I want to call you mine. Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked with genuine caring and tenderness in his voice. "Sure Ed. I've loved you too. Just I've always been to blind to see it until now." I replied. He smiled than kissed me.
