Chapter Fourteen: Deal? Deal.
Thankfully the bell rang the next second.
"Come on tell me!" Olivia pouted while walking next to me.
"Who was Ms. Albye talking about? What was she talking about?" Conrad looked very confused along with the rest of the guys in the pack.
"Little Danai has a little crush on a little someone." Olivia sang to the boys.
"Who?" Conrad, Trevor, and Jeremiah all asked in sync.
"Good lord no I don't!" I snapped. "Can you please drop it?"
She seemed takin aback. "Fine...." Olivia grinned mischievously. "I promise to let it go for right now, if we go shopping this weekend for dresses with the rest of the girls. You can even invite Phoebe and Bellona if you want."
"Really?" I raised an eyebrow. "I thought you didn't like vampires."
"Well me, Erica, and Katie think they're cool. We've been bonding in math." She shrugged. "So is that a deal or not?"
"Deal!" I chuckled. "I'm gonna go. Please don't discuss my problems with them." I pointed to the werewolf boys.
"Don't worry. I don't break deals or promises." She winked. "See ya."
"Come on! Who are you crushing on?" Conrad asked while I walked away.
I laughed and turned around. "Sorry. Talk to you later."
I walked towards my locker and dropped my book bag. I got all of the stuff I needed and was about to close my locker when someone else did it for me. I looked up to see no other than, you guessed it, Darian.
"I'm sorry." He sighed and helped me up.
"Sorry for what?" I asked. What was he apologizing for now?
"For being a jerk today." He muttered. He didn't look at me when he apologized. He stared at the window that was next to my locker.
"You heard my essay." I said that as more of a statement then a question.
"Yes." He nodded and finally looked at me.
"I hate Ms. Albye." I muttered more to myself. "It wasn't even about you if that is what you are getting at."
He chuckled. "Yeah sure it isn't. Saving that for later how about I make up me being an ass?"
I stared at him incredulously. "Really?" He nodded his head. "How?"
"Well let's go to the warlock market first." He said and stuck out his hand.
I looked at it and laughed to myself. He never knows when to quit does he? I walked passed him, leaving him hanging. Like I said, I'm not going to loose.
