Chapter Fifteen: You Cheated

The market was badass. There was absolutely everything and anything. Neon fruits and vegetables that warlocks use for potions and stuff, also edible, jewelry and clothing and of course pegasus. Not even joking.

I was amazed at just about everything. This has got to be the coolest place I have ever been to. It was outside like a lot of markets, but since this is a magical place they got the temperature just right. It wasn't too cold or too hot and the sky was a vibrant blue with a bright sun. It was basically perfect in every way.

"Whoa!" I exclaimed when I saw the magical ingredients tent in the market. It had some interesting plants but some other freaky things in there I don't feel like mentioning.

"Hold on, let me just get the rainbow and then we can hang out and shop around." Darian left to go talk to the sales man.

I looked around the tent and saw all the weird things. Eyeballs in a glass jar, birds beaks, and skeleton bones for some freaky stuff. There was also some cute stuff. 

He came back with the cutest little rainbow. It was so small you could put it in your pocket!

"That is adorable." I gawked at it. "Can I hold it?"

"Sure." He put it into my hand. Well it didn't actually fall into my hand it floated.

"Does it come with a tiny pot of gold at the end of it?" I asked jokingly looking at it.

He laughed at my question. "No, but hold on."

He closed his eyes for a second and a tiny pot of gold appeared at the end of the little rainbow.

I stared at him incredulously. "Did you really just do that? You know you are a lot more worse than I thought you were going to be. You don't know how to charm a girl at all. Boys are the same no matter the dimension I guess." I laughed.

"Your just very immune to my charms. It's okay though I like a challenge." He gave me a determined look. 

"Yes, I'm sure that's it." I replied to him and handed it back. "What else do we need? What do we have to do now?"

"Do you want to go eat?" He raised an eyebrow and held out his hand.

"Yeah. I'm starving." I took his hand and the tingles erupted. I realized what I was doing and went to pull my hand back, but I felt that strange buzz enter my veins and flow throughout me giving me that nice slight high. 

He kept trying to crack jokes and make me laugh at all of them while he was leading me to a secret food place. I have to say that I feel a lot more energized now.

"So how is this date doing so far?" he asked smirking at me.

He brought me to this nice little restaurant. The temperature was still perfect just like the market so we sat outside on the terrace. We must have been gone awhile since nightfall was surrounding us and the stars shined. The food was pretty damn tasty and the table was candlelit. He chose a great place to eat I must say.

"It's absolutely horrible." I teased with a smile.

"Haha funny." He said sarcastically. "But really, what do you think?"

"It's not a date, but the restaurant is cool." I admitted looking straight into his eyes. "Probably the best food I have had in a while."

He looked a bit peeved but relieved. "Well I suppose it's better then nothing. Yeah this place has been my favorite since I was a kid."
