You bit your lip, bouncing your leg rapidly on the ground. Your boyfriend Gerard couldn't come to school today because he was sick. You felt really bad and wanted to take care of him, but Donna, his mom, and your mom were not having it and letting you be alone at his house while they're at work. As well as, missing school.

So here you sat in your last class, watching the time eagerly. You had your mom prepare some soup and it sat in the microwave at home in a container. All you had to do was heat it up and go.

All you were waiting for was that damn bell.

After what seemed to be eternity, the bell rang and you took off. You basically threw your bag in your locker, grabbed your car keys, and headed out.

Just like the flash, you changed into some shorts, a tank top and a pullover, grabbed the soup and a spoon, and went straight for Gerard and Mikey's house.

You were thankful for Mikey speaking to you when you were new in town. If it weren't for him, you'd never have met Gerard.

You pulled up in front of their house, grabbing the soup and marching up their porch. Before you even knocked, Mikey opened the door. He gave a smile, and pointed to the basement.

You gave a small smile, and gave him a big hug.

"I love you, Mikey. I'm sorry, I'm just-"

"Don't worry about it. But you owe me, you're buying me a new Anthrax CD when we go to the music store tomorrow." You giggled and pecked his cheek, walking past.

"I was already gonna get it!" You spoke, walking down the steps.

"Then you can buy me 2!" You stuck your tongue out at him, but you tripped as you did, barely catching yourself from falling all the way down the stairs.

Luckily, no one saw that. Or so you think.

"(Y-Y/N)?" A stuffy voice asked. "A-Are you okay?" You chuckled nervously, jumping down the rest of the steps.

"Yep yep, and I brought you soup just like I promised, Gee." You smiled, walking in. Your eyes widened at the mess in his room.

Clothes were strewn everywhere, as were drawings, papers, and pencils, which was normal.

What wasn't normal, was Mount Snot over there, made out of used tissues.

You giggled a little, and walked over to Gerard's bed, sitting on the edge of it after placing his soup on his desk.

"Sit up for me, okay?" You asked softly. Gerard nodded, and slowly sat up, you helping him, and leaning him against his pillows and headboard.

You pressed your hand to his forehead and frowned.

"Gee, your fever hasn't gone down. Have you been taking your medicine?" You asked, looking at him.

His cute but watery hazel eyes looked away nervously, and you crossed your arms.

"Gerard Arthur Way." You scolded.

"N-No.." He whispered. You sighed, and handed him the tissue box next to you, and pecked his cheek, standing and walking over to his table, where there sat the untouched medicine.

Gerard started coughing just as soon as you reached it, opening it and pouring some on a spoon.

"Perfect evidence that you need it." You spoke, making sure it was a full spoon, before turning around, and sitting on the edge of the bed, looking at him. "Open." He pouted at you, and shook his head.

"Uhuh."

"Gerard Arthur Way, open your mouth right now, or I won't kiss you after this." His jaw dropped a little bit, and he pouted at you more.

"Bu-But that stuff is so g-gross! And its Cherry flavored!" He whined. You gave him a small smirk.

"You wanna know what else is gross, Mount Snot over there, so take this medicine so it can disappear forever, and I can actually kiss you." Gerard huffed, and leaned forward, taking the spoon in his mouth and swallowing all of it.

He made a sour face as he did, so you handed him some water that sat on the table. He downed that a bit, and you stood, walking over and bringing the soup and the spoon over to Gerard.

"Try eating this, okay?" You asked. He nodded, taking it as you decided to clean up a bit. You wanted to help him out as much as you could, even if that meant cleaning.

So you started to clean up his room, starting with Mount Snot. Yeah it was gross, but hey, he's your boyfriend.

"You're lucky I love you." You teased, throwing away all the tissues until the small mountain was gone.

You started working on stacking his papers, putting his pencils on his desk, and picking up his clothes.

You took off your sweater earlier, and working now, you noticed Gerard staring at you, making you blush.

"What?" You finally asked, looking at him. He sent a nervous smile your way.

"You're so beautiful..and..you don't have to do this stuff for me, (y/n)....I can do it later." You shook your head, hanging up one of his shirts.

"I want to help you out, Gerard. You're sick, you need rest." You replied, finishing up and walking over tiredly to his bed, sitting on the edge.

He smiled at you, his red nose being more noticeable.

"What did I ever do to deserve a beautiful and sweet girl like you?" He asked, looking at you. You smiled, and leaned forward, running your fingers though his long hair.

"Be yourself, thats what." You smiled, and kissed his forehead sweetly. You giggled, kicking off your shoes, and stepping over Gerard, laying on the other side of his bed, and hugging him close.

"H-Hey, y-you're gonna get sick-" you shook your head.

"I don't care. And I'll be okay. Just need to make sure you're warm and loved." He smiled, and hugged you close.

"Thank you, baby." He whispered, kissing your hair.

"No problem, Gerard." You whispered back, smiling as you closed your eyes.
