-Harry’s POV-
After I left Violet’s house last night, I went straight to my own house. I spent the night thinking about Violet. When she came into my life, my feelings has been all mixed up and I’m literally confused by it. I’ve never felt like this towards a girl, and it’s scaring me. To be completely honest, I do like Violet, ever since that night. That night when I broke in Violet’s room, I’d never thought that the guards around my heart would let her in so easily, plus I never knew that I could fall for her this fast, it’s only been 2 weeks and 5 days and I feel as if I would go crazy if I don’t see her for more than 2 days. I guess life can surprise you in the most unexpected times, huh?
I also find it pretty funny that she’s the exact opposite as me, and I, out of all people in the world, ended up with this girl, Violet. The way that she’s so innocent is just so adorable, the way she shies away from me, her laugh and her giggle is probably the most beautiful thing I’ve ever listened to, and I could go on and on about her the whole day. I don’t get how that Chase guy, could hurt her on a daily basis, she’s too fragile. If I could, I would kill Chase with my bare hands, but something, or someone is stopping me from doing that, Violet. When she speaks, it’s as if it’s a queue for me to stop on whatever I’m doing and just listen to her sweet angelic voice. I just have this weird feeling to protect her every time, it’s like we’re in a battlefield and I’m her sword and her shield.
I shook all these thoughts away and got out of my bed. I need to talk with Jay again, since Violet interfered with out conversation, but 10% of me was quite thankful that Violet interrupted us, because I was so close to tackling Jay on the ground and literally putting a bullet through his thick skull, because sometimes, he asks too much and he just expects me to do it in a snap. I walked to the shower and took a nice warm shower.
When I was ready with everything, I went out of my house and climbed inside my car and started driving. It only took 20 minutes from my house to his house. When I arrived in front of his house, I jumped out of my car and rang the doorbell. I waited for a few seconds until he showed up in front of the door, with a robe and a cigarette, I went inside his house and saw a lady, maybe around her 40s, smoking, sitting on his sofa with only her undergarments, her hair is a mess, her boobs are sagging, and it’s just a full turn-off.
“Hey, honey.” She said, smirking.
“Uh, Hey.” I said uninterested.
“Abby, honey, go back to my room, I’ll be there in a minute.” He winked at her and she made a purr sound. I mentally gagged. Can we just talk about this and get it over with, I want to meet Violet.
“So, Harry. Sit, sit.” He gestured to one of the sofas.
I nodded and sat on the opposite sofa.
“Harry, about last night.” He paused and I nodded.
“I hope you’re willing to do that job, since you did such a great job with robbing that bank. Though you didn’t split the money correctly.” I smirked for a split second and put a blank expression.
“So, are you up for the job?”
“You want me to kill innocent people?”
“No, not innocent people, people who owe me.”
“No. Why don’t you do it yourself?”
Judging by his face, he looks like he’s going to explode any second, but I know he’s restraining it.
“Harry, what’s wrong with you, you’ve grown very soft ever since you met this Violet girl.” He furrowed his eyebrows.
I am not ‘soft’.
