Chapter 46 (Part 2)

 Harry’s POV

 “I love you.” I said.

It was quiet between both of us. I suddenly felt desperate for her to say it back. To say, “I love you too.” to me, but it never came out of her mouth. She had tears coming out her eyes, my angel is crying. It makes my heart hurt so much I can’t even process anything else.

She jerked her hand down and her small hand slipped out of my hold. Her hand was wet from her tears, making it easier to slip out of my hand. I wanted to chase her down the stairs but she already went out of the house so I sighed and sat down in the dining table.

Right now, I’m still sitting down on the dining table. It’s been 3 minutes and it’s totally quiet. I appreciate that Nathan is staying out of this and trying to keep his distance from me at the moment. I don’t mind, I need time to think anyways. All the things she said are still swarming in my mind. Her words didn’t hurt me that much but when she said, “I’m done with you, Harry.” That stabbed me right in the heart. I felt my heart skip a beat.

I can’t believe this is happening.

Suddenly I hear my phone ringing upstairs. With a sigh escaping my lips, I drag myself out of the kitchen, up the stairs and into my room. I don’t bother closing the door and picked up my phone still ringing on the nightstand. Before I answer my phone, I see Violet’s phone on the nightstand. Great, she left her phone here, now I can’t call or text her if she doesn’t come home.

I grab my still ringing phone and press the ‘answer’ button.

“Hello?” I start the conversation.

“Harry! Listen to me and just shut up for a second.”

All I did was say Hello.

“Listen, Scott and Aaron are after Violet. Well technically Violet and you, but Jay said that his main target is Violet as of right now. They’ve found your location and they’ve also Violet’s location. What the fuck is she doing in the park by herself?!”

“Something happened, just finish what you wanted to tell me.” I asked, sounding a bit panicky.

“Go to the park, go after her right now. Talk on the phone while you’re walking. This is important.” Without a second thought, I run down the stairs, and take my shoes with me. I slip it on, not bothering to put it in properly.

“Okay, talk.” I speed walk down the street. I know where the park is, I’ve done a little research of the area. Just in case we need something or we need another hideout.

“Scott is Violet’s dad and Jay’s sending him to get Violet. Find her and keep her safe. I’ll try to get more information from Jay. Hurry, Jay’s already there with her. And Scott is a v-“ I pres the end button before he could finish his sentence. I’m sure it’s nothing important I shove my phone inside my pocket. When I see the park nearby, I run towards it and try to find Violet.

I’m guessing she would be around the t-

“Go away!” Violet’s voice!

I see her sitting on the bench with her dad tugging on her arm. I run towards them and thankfully, Scott is facing back. I run full forced on him and my chest collided with his back. He lets go of Violet’s arm and lost his balance for a second, but regains it in an instant.
