Derek's P.o.V (yah we all knew this would come.)

I awoke that day frustrated and completely weak and i let out a snarl.

I had her power in my hands! I could of be the real alpha of this pack! So what we were cousins, purify the bloodline like my god awful father couldn't do.

But if only i had marked her sooner before her wolf started to awaken, a hybrid Alpha wolf is practically unstoppable. The only reason My dear old kept those bitches alive was so i could mate one of them and of course incase their brother could still be alive.

Still angered i tried to sniff her out but only to smell my many sluts of the nights before and alcohol. But i had to realize that the pack's last luna had been a hybrid of a witch meaning i would have to make up a white lie to the other pathetic Alphas so i could take my prize back and of course lock her up in the cells for my personal gain.

Weeks have gone by and papers and my new flavour lay across the ground as i write out the final copy to the alphas of the US and russia. I had also managed to get in contact with a vampire Haven in Transylvania just to make sure those girls are found. Because once they know the full story of their bloodline i might as well have my head hanging from the cliff side.


Unknowns P.o.V

We had walked along the area for at least a week before i noticed changes in my group. One of our wolves seemed out of focus and the other one seemed so depressed that the next cliff they'd see they would jump off it.

We all knew that our leader meant to help them but taking away mates on a mission was just heartless. Yes i have yet to find my mate but the way these two look could make a crying baby give them a lollypop just to try and cheer them up.

But still we kept walking farther and farther from our home our leader seemed to be losing sanity everyday. Also our leader would cast us spells to protect us when we sleep make them weak in the process. But still they manage to keep there head up high and only show their insanity once.

Then i smelt a scent it covered me like a blanket. The warm scent of cinnamon buns and warm hot chocolate. Then knowing me i follow the scent away from our napping group. As the scent grows stronger i feel my wolf awaken and i feel the heavenly sparks that had warmed my chilled body.

Soon a handsome tall man comes into view and my wolf howls mate.

"Hello my dear mate I have heard so much about you."

"You have? How?" I blush as he takes in my scent and i do the same."

"Your someone from your group is secretly mated already and has stayed in contact with her mate." He says and my eyes grow wide looking at my sleeping group mates.

"Really? but how." I stutter.

"Its easy, once you mark your mate *he places his head next to where i will be marked and i lose my breath.* and boom mate bond and a mind link for just you and your mate." He says and i blush knowing i completely like my guard down.

"Well i would love to stay and chat but my group and I must keep moving. Are you going to join us?" I half beg looking at him.

"Not yet my love we will meet again but my group shall join with me."

"Ok." I sigh and i look up.

"May I atleast know your name?"


"Yes my dear Winter I am Jerome."
