Be with me so I know,
You will never let me go.
Stay with me in the night;
Be my angel shining bright.
Hold my hand and my soul,
Kept inside an empty bowl.
Set me free from this cage;
I've been lost here for an age.
Keep me close by your side;
I no longer want to hide.
Explore with me this new world,
And see eternity unfurled.
Walk with me through the grass;
Grown from remnants of the past.
Protect my heart from their blades,
And the pain which never fades.
Show me why I should live,
When it is so hard to forgive.
Heal my heart, give me reason,
And I'll stand with you through any season.
